That is because the Nokia 701 is powered by 1ghz processor when the Nokia N8 is only 680mhz so it wont be unbelievable smooth.

I more interested on the voice activated translation. i.e you speak to the app in native languarge and its return wth foreign languarge. Very useful for those going oversea where ppl there dun speak English.

RM399 but tied to 24mth contract wor and it's RM150/mth and furthermore without unlimited 3G.. In order to avoid expensive 3G, you need to subscribed for RM68 data plan which will cost you RM218/mth.
or RM5,232 for the duration of the contract. Wth this, you might as well buy N8 at ~ RM1200 for 12mth free inslament for RM100/mth for only 12 mth and subscribe for maybe RM50 maxis plan. & add RM68 for unlimeited data..You still win here.. |

But I seldom goes over 100MB (because I don't tether nor download movies), so I just subscribe their 250MB (RM38), a saving of RM50/month x 24 months = RM1200. I still think I came out ahead when I got their N8 for RM950. 12 months. |
