got a question, newbie in SE

"Entitlement description: Final Income Distribution of 4.83 sen per unit in respect of six-month period ended 31 March 2012"

so 4.83 sen per unit is how much ? lets say if i got 5 unit on hand

is it 4.83*5?
*
1 lot of share = 1000 units

Dividend = 4.83 sen per unit.
1 lot of share gets RM0.0483 x 1000 = RM48.30 (subject to tax)

i have a few questions on the amfirst rights issue. Can anyone help?

1. If i have 5 lot of amfirst, i get 3 lots of rights?

2. Do i have to pay for it? or is it free of charge?
*
1. Correct calculation

2. You have to pay for each rights unit at RM0.83/unit. Rights Issues need to pay with bank draft. Bonus Issues is FOC.

Oh boy, finally....
Btw, may I know more about the TR thingy? Kind of confuse, how to buy TR & what's the differences with normal units? Newbie  blush.gif
*
AMFIRST-TR can be purchase like normal shares... but once you purchase the Rights, you need to exercise it by paying 0.83 x AMFIRST-TR unit quantity.
Exercise = convert Rights to Actual AMFIRST share via submission of Rights Subcription Form (RSF)

Correct me if I'm wrong, so every 1,000 units you get RM40? or they convert into share units
*
You are right.... also depends if dividend is taxable (@ 10%) or not.

On Feb-2012, STAREIT Dividend Payout (0.9233 sen is taxable, 3.0879 sen is non-taxable)

To exercise your rights issue, you need to pay RM0.83 per unit of Rights Unit via Banker's Draft and send the Rights Subscription Form(RSF) to Unit Registrar (Symphony)

Hi, I have a question on the payment of the right acceptance. If I choose to purchase a banker's cheque as payment method, in the payable field, what should I put? As per the RSF form, it says "MTB AMFIRST REIT RIGHTS UNITS A/C". Is it the one? Sorry, first time noob exercising my RI tongue.gif

Payee : MTB AMFIRST REIT RIGHTS UNITS A/C
