No worry. only one tenant going to default. I will buy more if price going lower than 0.90.. no fear. it happens every time..tenant moving out. Can find new tenant. but if got fire then will be bad....all sorts of problems.

The company is under auditing process, it doesn't mean the company will be defaulting the lease payment. The company still operating, and is not bankrupt or close shop whatsoever.
The company is facing accounting issue.

So it is too early to conclude anything of it.

Hi all sifus,

I am planning to throw a bit money (RM1k+ only) into REITs and this is my first time investment... Recently looking at bond funds, REITs and gold... I would like to get some info here...

What REITs are worth buying now? I am looking at Starhill, Sunway and Pavilion. Any suggestions?

How long do I need to own the REITs before I can get dividend? And normally how many times will a company give div in a year???

Let's say a REIT price is RM1 now. So if I spend RM1k (excluding those fee), I will have 1000 units, right? So what the company issue div, I just multiply my 1000 units with the DPU?

If sunreit goes lower, buy more. They bog putra hotel at dirt cheap price. After renovations, sure untung manyak-manyak...

Reit doesn't operate a business, even though the hotel earn billion, reit is just renting the hotel to the company that run the hotel, unrelated.
Reit is all about renting or lease only.
