Restored my Galaxy S back to its former glory. Phew.

I'll backup every single thing first before I jump to another ROM lol

I reinstalled TouchWiz 4, it was on XDA's page, under SGS i9000 themes and apps.

ya so from now on i'll flash maybe after 5-10 days... depends on updates but since I'm away better update   it to da latest......

Am not noticing any difference yet, but I like to update every 3-4 nightlies just to keep to the latest la. Gatai ma.

joking meh.... did a reset (by pressing da on/off button for 5 sec) then can dee.....very frequent....dono why ....^^

i increase the db in cm setting/ sound.... btw in fugumod download page there are 2 files under cm7 fugumod 20110818 r 932v update.zip.... 1 with sha256sum and the other don have.... so which is which? thanks

I've flashed SURFACE b4.. but only for a few hours then to stock deodexed JVQ. coz trying to install Mekalas theme on JVP, but tat then installation din complete. thought it would work on SURFACE coz the rom's so slim.. same case too, gave up then straight to stock JVQ.

what's wrong with this SURFACE rom? i followed all their instructions still kenot flash. bootloop like there's no tomorrow.

previously i'm with MilkyS. I'm happy coz no weird FCs. minor delay when navigating through GOlauncher but that's acceptable coz i got many widgets. but what i don't like about it is the ugly theme. that's all. i prefer stock icons, colour, and if can SGS 2 icons. but SURFACE got problem la.. bootloop and bootloop and bootloop.. dammit

If i want to flash to miuiandroid 1.8.19 with GB bootloaders what steps should i do? I'm now on stock JVQ... also, is Neo 16 r2 beast GB bootloader compatible???

is the following steps correct?
1. flash GB bootloader compatible kernel (eg. Neo 09 redux v5)
2. flash miui 1.8.19
3. reboot and flash language pack
3. flash Neo 09 kernel again???

my samsung galaxy s GT-i9000 has been block because of using screen lock Pattern. My daugther draw it more than 15 times and requires username and passowrd for my gmail account, unfortunately i forgot my username because it was set by the saler from the 1st time i bought my phone...anybody have any solution for that?

unfortunately, be for bought this phone i didn't have gmail a account, then the saler juz set randomly...1st i remember but since already a few months i forgot it Damn!!!there's any reset to factory or something?thanks again...

hi guys~ recently i just flashed my phone to milkys rom.

the cpu is set to run at 1200mhz :S

how do i set it to 1000mhz? i tried using voltage control but i can choose either 800 or 1200 :S

in advanced if i choose the 800mhz and slide it to 1000mhz my phone hangs then reboot back to 1200

hihi, problem is, what is -50mV and so on? didnt overclock before. can't seem to find a guide for this as well 

The home button was okay until 2 days ago. Maybe should try to flash back to stock rom and see. Any straight forward method to flash back to stock rom?

my launcher (GO launcher) always restarts itself after i close my apps or games. quite annoying if you ask me. but after i did that tweak, no more restarts. the launcher stays in memory.

i don't think that this is necessary if you have SGS II or phone with 768+ MB RAM. but our sgs have little memory (sadly) and because of that, sometimes our phone will lag. so this is really needed, i guess.

I am currently using MIUI rom.

i am having some issues with my galaxy S. Earlier in the day, i was not able to boot to my phone as it was stuck at the loading screen. I was able to load into recovery mode but however, my USB storage mount mode was not working as the computer wasn't able to detect it.

I tried going into download mode and the same thing occurs where windows was not able to detect it. I tried changing micro usb cable and try it out but the results was just the same. I tried changing computers as well and no difference.

Any guide out there would be greatly appreciated.

i believe the drivers was ok as the pc was used to flash other roms before. I cant do a factory reset as i am now stuck at the "Galaxy S GT-I9000" screen. Right now, i just want the phone to be detected in windows for download mode.

When the phone is powered off, i plug in the phone using the usb cable (connected to the laptop) and it boots up but stuck at the "Galaxy S GT-I9000" screen and not moving after that.

i was able to do that until just 3 hours ago when i left the phone idle. no idea what happened. But usb not detected even in download mode, that seems a lil wrong.. don't you think?
