sure, you can flash any country firmware as long as it is build for i9000. for flashing you can check first page how to flash with odin or check my siggy easier. good luck.

csc is modem. try read first page and you will understand this phone.

yes, from cm7 you have to flash using codeworkx's bootloader(added in first page) . i did the same thing like you, i thought i will brick my phone, luckily no. from what i understand, flashing bootloader have high risk to get hard brick if failed.(maybe not in some case)

if you did follow this thread you should know gmhafiz already flashed several firmware. from gb to froyo and back to gb.

i use "document to go". cm7 will never have any samsung apps pre installed. cm7 is an AOSP= Android Open Source project. which mean cm7 is base on the most pure android code to develop, its as basic as it gets. clean and lagless. Gapps = Google applications.

in cm7 yes, forget about samsung roms. been leaving them a long time. setting>wireless and network>VPN

should be no, but in MIUI, when i wanna unlock screen while charging, i can feel laggy.

the rom is still in beta. interface is ok(no 3.0 ). one thing i like sense is, many useful widget and function implemented. HTC really put effort in developing Sense unlike touchwiz . now i understand why people love HTC not the phone but sense.

in cupcake>donut>eclair>froyo>gingerbread, no video call through 3g network because in android source code no such thing yet. samsung hacked it and modified the dialer. (this is what i heard from some where). so cm7 will never have video call until android added video call coding into the next ICS or maybe the next next version of android.

actually the "unstable" that we mention doesn't mean that cm7 will crash, random reboot or so on. we are trying to tell people that cm7 is still under developing. not like samsung rom.

i like touchwiz too. i feel touchwiz is a signature of samsung and i am proud to have/use it. and tw4.5 is cool.

just read the change log. i am using neo kernel with script to apply smartass as normal usage and conservative when in idle. heard that will be more battery saving.

all weather forecast are not 100% accurate as the name forecast = predict. i like weather widget in spb shell 3d but cannot get it without using the launcher.

i am still waiting for twoeey 3. lazy to flash. using galaxysense 0.6.

well. for me they are doing good to port sense over. still in beta so front and back camera not woking , a little bit lag(maybe i used to cm7), broken wifi(disconnect frequently). other are ok. they should port 3.0 not 2.1.
