i facing this issue ever since flash new rom to my sgs, i cant use wifi for browsing internet! its show as connected, but can online using it..what is the prob and how to solve?

but i manage to use wifi to transfer file, current on MIUI and glitch

i check on ur sighy now u r on miui.us? how ita perform? now juz check on xda twooey3 juz release...... icejoker..... dont want to be lab rat to test it?

Twooey III has other problems too. eg. noticeable lags.. others I'm not sure, but Twooey I seems to be better

wow!!! v20 ady  with a lot of improvement. didnt aware of this thread for a long time. sifus!! i got question here. currently im on darky JVQ 10.2 EE.. but i now i feel the drain is quiet noticeable. summore what i notice, i also experience with sudden "hang up" if im makin a call or received call. the call will loose signal then i need to call back the my fren to continue the talking.    so i wish to change the modem. what is ur advise? i mean what is the best modem ard for me to try.    uhhh btw realy appreciated it if u could gv me the links also for download the modem. thanks sifussssss 

thank u for the prompt reply. but i think the JVQ modem u gv is the default modem in the darkys 10.2 EE. ermm.. can i flash with the ZSJPG modem? isit compatible w the gingerbread rom?

hey, off-topic btw..... noticed the new Xiaomi phone running MIUI out of the box from China.. man and it's cheap with the high specs!!! with 1930mAh battery sumore..

I am happy with CM7 because it fulfills nearly all my needs, except for push notification for everything which Android does not do well enough to satisfy me without needing to set polling interval (e.g. twitter and facebook).

1. CM7 is bloody fast and smooth, with simple UI (I don't like ROMs that prioritize beauty over speed).
2. CM7 lasts almost 24 hours on standby for me even with background sync, auto sync enabled (I have a bigger 2700mah battery ma).
3. CM7 is stable so far, no weird FC, no reboot/boot issues.

You wish to improve your experience with CM7? Be careful about the apps you use. I stick to really free and some paid apps, I don't use pirated stuff. Most issues I face on Android tend to be due to apps, not the OS or the ROM. I only have about 50 plus apps on my phone, because I don't play games on my SGS and I don't do video and audio playback too (I have my Galaxy Tab 7 for this).
