i am so disappointed with criskelo. he just leave his rom and jump to S2 without saying anything. what kind of attitude is that? although we are not paying him to work but he should say something right? no? shakehead.gif

it is good. dev should help each other and they should release because all the code they currently using are from cm7 dev. if not cm7 there will be no MIUI and of cause Galnet too.

my launcher (GO launcher) always restarts itself after i close my apps or games. quite annoying if you ask me. but after i did that tweak, no more restarts. the launcher stays in memory.

i don't think that this is necessary if you have SGS II or phone with 768+ MB RAM. but our sgs have little memory (sadly) and because of that, sometimes our phone will lag. so this is really needed, i guess.

q1 : if not mistaken android keyboard with dictionary right? just go into setting>keyboard for setting. or you can get any 3rd party keyboard like go keyboard.
Q2: deleted the Aldiko eBook app from /system/app if didnt install it, follow the method mention by pikachu01

which apps? did you factory reset? i always have problem with MIUI, 3rd party sms apps like go sms cannot send out.quite annoying la. now using original message apps. last time my launcher keep FC when i receive message. its better do a clean installation on charmeleon MIUI.

you install them yourself right? i dont think samsung apps able to run well on MIUI rom not even cm7. only on samsung base rom.

to root just flash a custom kernel like CF-Root. just read thru the page and find the one compatible with your rom.

you are welcome, ohya friendly remind, DXJV9 have android OS problem which cause battery drain . so its normal if you wake up with your phone switched off .

You'll have root access once you entered recovery mode and activate: install superuser/root

yes it is automatic feature but you can uninstall the update too. go into setting>application>market>uninstall update. or freeze it like kmrdeva did.

1. yes you can for mat your sdcard in recovery. mount and storage>format /sdcard
2.of cause you can go back to stock rom. just flash with 3 files and with repartition and pit file thats it.
3. with MIUI you cant make video call thru 3g network. 720p video recording problem(solved in galnet MIUI).

which kernel are you on? so far all kernel have good battery life. glitch is quite old. try change other kernel. neo not bad too. of wait for glitch v12 final. and try uv too. will get better battery life.but i feel the new nightly drain a lot of battery compare to 70-80.
