Hi guys, just to share my personal experience on Milkly rom. I tested it using Gallery for smoothness. It lag and frequent reboot. This even happen after flash to Talon kernel. Finally flash back to JVP plus Speedmod kernel. Performance is comparable and battery life also. Just my 2 cents.

so after milky not so stable what ur next rom to flash dear thread boss  . haha after feel cm7 everyone will compare other custom rom to cm7....

ya, milkys core  .finish my full charged battery in less than 3hours.

currently using Milkys 1.3 with talondev 0.4.22 so far everything is good.. no reboot.. no hang.. no lag.. but when playing game I notice bettery drain faster.. grr

err OndemandX governor is kernel ? or apps ? 

Currently I have set my SGS to use automatic brightness. But from time to time, when I'm outdoor, I find that my brightness does not go up. I go check in the setting and realised that auto brightness has been disabled.

Anyone has any idea how does the auto brightness setting got disabled by itself? This is really annoying, chasing the chicken around.

Using Simplicity 0.33 now.

In fact this happens on all the ROMs I have used previously.

Don't have display tweak or Tasker running. I wonder what causes the auto brightness to be disabled by itself.

are you using stock or custom kernel on cm7? with custom kernel like glitch or neo i always got this problem.   with fugumod or stock will be better at least not that frequent. onw of the downside of cm7

they said wont see any improvements with talon bcoz of talon's settings.. hmm..

tat's only for Talon rite? I'm nt Talon. do I still hav to rename supercharger to S99Supercharger so tat it's executed last aft flashing the enhancer zip?

already on it for second day. so everything is ok. smoothness i would put it likue this milky>criskelo>simplicity. for stable both are almost the same, no random reboot or hang. still a lil bit lag and delay there.   maybe i am too used to cm7. overall not bad have to try few more day. for those on simplicity do you encounter some lag and delay after used for a few day without reboot? when i was on simplicity i have to reboot once a day to gain back the smoothness. 

cm7 not = MIUI. MIUI is base on cm7 coding. which mean no cm7 no MIUI. actually the most stable kernel is the stock kernel. try to wait and see the problem still there if really cannot detect then only flash custom kernel. for custom kernel i think Fugu or neo are currently up-to-date kernel.

ohya does talon cm7 support MIUI? it should be can right?

yup.. on simplicity.. if use for long time.. will feel a bit lag & delay.. then need to reboot..
usually yes.. after used for a few day, need to reboot than fine back..
may i know how to delete that "loopy smoothness script"?
if not mistaken, that script work to kill apps is it?

I m having the same rom and kernel..but jvr modem and u.s.a.s init.d tweaks. I had wiped my init.d folder before flashing this tweaks. Only 1 script in the lnit.d folder now

I know this person very well.
He writes a lot but have no useful information to share.
He and SC are the two major g.p.l police.
None of them can it either.
Just read what they want and ignore the facts.
He can comment on things he does not have a clue about.
Will he be wrong then he will change his tactics and often is about language.
Which he claims he is very good at.
He is certainly better than me at it, but I see plenty of errors he do.
He also writes in many threads where other developers are and think he know much.
He and SC were those who always wanted to have my source code.

Always after they received it they used it in code or tell other how to do it.
SC made it very ugly and it was so obvious when he days after came out with a new kernel that he had changed so it worked better.
Given that I knew what was wrong, it's pretty easy to see the changes he made.
They both have very difficult when others are talking about things they do not have a clue about.

Then they use any dirty metods they can find.
Both of them shut down my topic on the Smurf place and both of them used my code without giving me a credit for it.
Unfortunately, both are smurf place sweethearts so they can do as they please.
Do not be surprised if the thread is closed when they do not like what is written.
