Guide to Update To The Latest Android 2.3.3 Firmware
Essentials:
-SE PC Companion 2.0 [To ensure you have the latest drivers on your PC and to update your X10i to the latest firmware 3.0.1.G.0.75 Link
-SE Update Service(SEUS) [To ensure your computer has all the USB drivers needed] Link

Official Procedure:
-Run either PC Companion 2.0/SEUS and update (follow instructions given)

Unofficial Procedure:
-Download Flashtool Link
-Download either one of these .ftf
X10i_3.0.1.G.0.75_GLOBAL-GGL GENERIC 1232-9897 Link
OR
X10i_3.0.1.G.0.75_CUST-MY GENERIC 1237-0695 Link (Malaysia)
-Place the extracted file .ftf to the 'firmware' folder of the flashtool.
-Run Flashtool.exe and click the 'lightning'(Flash) button and select the .ftf and flash.

Simple Guide To Rooting, Flashing, Installing xRecovery with Flashtool [For 2.3.3 Firmware] by Eugene91
-Download Flashtool 0.6.7 Link
-Before you start make sure you are on stock 2.3.3 firmware.
-Make sure 'Unknown Sources' & 'USB Debugging' are ticked in Settings>Applications
-Launch X10Flashtool.exe.
-Connect phone via USB.
-Click Root and follow instructions.

For those who don't want to unlock their bootloader.
-Click Recovery Installer(xRecovery 0.3 recommended) and follow instructions

For those who wants to unlock bootloader
-If you are on stock 2.3.3 and rooted, enable usbdebugging and run the bootloader unlock plugin in flashtool.
-Then try to flash the kernel for the custom rom you want to flash. You have to download the .ftf file with the kernel, put it in the firmwares folder of Flashtool and then go on the normal flashbutton and choose the kernel from the list.

in the thread above, step 9 it ask us to power on device...is that after or before the usb cable is connect to phone? as in step 8 it ask us to remove usb cable.

No way.. But you can flash Official Firmware .ftf files but due to the drama in XDA.. arked deleted his .ftf flashtool firmware..

step 10. u will feel a small vibration when u power on device at that point immediately connect usb cable

finally done flashing to WB3.6 and its kernel and baseband...damn it rooted fast...dun think xLOUD will spoil the speaker though as it isnt that loud...

once root no waranty.but u can flash back to stock ROM anytime.haih, normally nothing will broken within the waranty period la. this is the marketing tactic. if they give u one year waranty, then after one year or maybe one day after one year then ur device start to broken. it always happens to me.

I think there's a high chance it might, which is why I've not tried it out yet. Judging from the boosted EQ settings on PowerAmp which I've played around with, I do hear the speakers crackle at higher volume, quite scary tbh! And speaker output is normally a hardware thing, the xLoud is just acting as a software booster. You took the plunge and tested it out yet Eugene? Tell me how it sounds if you did, it is quite tempting though, haha. biggrin.gif

It doesnt crackle like power AMP though.. it's just louder? but i saw in XDA some say maybe prolonged used not good.

i hav xloud
bt then after i install xloud
i lower my ringin volume by 2 bars
so it will not b at full volume n power
i like at options there got the xloud name

after updated to gb, i found out that the camera interface has changed a bit.. u can focus when using 'touch capture' mode.. is there anyhow to solve this or can anyone teach how to revert to 2.1?

I think 2.3.3 camera features is ported from 2.1 .. u can still focus by pressing the snapshot button in Normal mode. continous auto focus still the same.. in 2.1 also got touch focus..

Hi all, I have an issue after the Gingerbread update, I have synced for N times but the FB profile picture and other details are not shown in my phonebook contact, the only thing it shows in the contact info is the Birthday of the contact. why is it so?

i want to ask..is this x10 camera on macro is not good? my old k800i can shoot well in macro thing ..eg, document word..not like this x10, when hold button, the sceen is focus (green), but the wording/object is blur..or im not good in playing x10?

im on wb v3+v3.6.0 ( Skipped the themecustom v3.5) ....my Ringtone normal...
Maybe becos u install v3.5+themecustom v3.5, then u apply the update v3.6.. Overlapping files?

oops sorry, what i meant is in 2.1, u can touch a bit longer, then the square box will focus, and the image is shot.. but in 2.3, once u touch the screen the image is shot directly.. no focus...

For v3.5+update3.6, rasanya semer ringtone include skali dlm installation.. Takde buat apa2 xtra pun...
Unlike v3.0, kena install sound n notification seperately... Maybe ko boleh try install seperately gak kot for ur current setup..

I believe i made some mistakes here.

Update V3.8.0 Features Version needs to be flashed after a reboot, flash Main ROM let it boot up wait till you reach the Homescreen and get Data/Signal E/3G/H then reboot and flash it!

what does it mean by needs to be flashed after a reboot?

to use update, i have to install the main ROM and then install update ROM, only i can fully update from 3.6 to 3.8?

cause i misunderstood and directly install the update in xRecovery. (noob mistakes)

hi Sifus,

I need some guide to upgrade my x10 from 2.1 to 2.3.3. I have try pc companion & service update many many times but can't get it to update.
Pc companion stuck at the take cable out then put back in & press arrow key.
i have taken out battery before connecting back to usb & then press the back arrow key.
Service update also tak jadi. when plug in cable & press the arrow key, waited for more than a minute also nothing happens.

please help guys... thanks in advance..

so for all who wants XLoud & Bravia in 3.8 for the time being you have to change following lines in build.prop

from:
Code:
ro.service.swiqi.supported=false
persist.service.swiqi.enable=0

to:

ro.service.swiqi.supported=true
persist.service.swiqi.enable=1
ro.semc.xloud.supported=true

or later i`ll upload corrected .zip file and flash via xrecovery

im getting good in battery.. this latest 3.8 is not bad already..testing from 7am till 7pm.. battery drop 8-10%.. 6 call and 5 msg..Overall, it got improvement expccially in sleep mode.. but when play game...the battery is vomit..

try uninstall and reinstall the PC Companion and Service update again...

Last time i faced similar problem, it turned out my Flash Mode driver is faulty...
perhaps your flash driver is not installed properly

true, but i havent try the battery in playing games...in playing mp3, from about 77% battery can last from 1am to 8am with still 15% battery left...

Did that too , uninstalling pc companion & service update and also have tried on different pc....
its really puzzling me. Flash drive is ok i think, tried other ports too.. looks like i might hv to send it in to sony to deal with it.. almost giving up on my own..

i've succesfully boot into xrecovery and update "WB-XPERIA TW Gingerbread V3.8.0 | 55fps, ARC Features, no Audio lag | 11/8/2011" after reboot its stay at SE screen. what happen?

Be patient, the first time of loading for 3.8 is very long, I wait for 7-10 minutes only get it done and even enter android d still lag, require few reboot to get thing right biggrin.gif

Which version you are before flashing into 3.8?? What you done during flashing 3.8 from your previous FM/rom?


BTW Z seems to quit soon as he is going to sell his x10 of end of this month, nevertheless he just came out with camera with flash and revealed that there will be good new next week regarding bootloader

still unable to get my baseband load, who can help? whistling.gif

this is what i've done


Copy the update.zip (name can be different!!) to your X10s SDcard
Reboot X10 into xRecovery (Keep hitting Back-button while X10 restarts)
Select "Factory Reset"
Select "Wipe Cache Partition"
Select "Advanced options" -> "Wipe Dalvik Cache"
Select "Install custom zip" and select the zipfile you copied to your SDCard
Wait for xRecovery to finish

this part i was not able to get it done. i back press the button then plugin the usb nothing happen its reboot as normal.

After that, DONT REBOOT OR DO ANYTHING, JUST REMOVE ANY CONNECTED CABLE AND REMOVE BATTERY TO TURN OF PHONE
EXTRACT the kernel+baseband-File into flashtools firmware folder
Hit "Flash" in flashtool and select the copied kernel+baseband
Now insert battery again (make sure no cable is connected. Otherwise the phone will start into charging mode and you have to start again)
Press Back-button and connect cable
Wait for flashtool to finish

1. Root
2. Backup
3. Update rom to 2.3.


Is this correct?

Both Root and Backup should follow this :Link

For updating rom just install SE Pc companion and SEUS, follow Sony given instructions and let itself update?

After i update, i realize there isn't Backup and Restore icon on the menu.
Is that means i can't restore all those files on my phone?

i notice x10 drain battery so fast, tot that with 1500mh can last around 2-3 day.. how about using 3rd party battery.. sun u battery 1800, is is good?

in your case, sad to say, SE backup n restore only available to 2.1...
in 2.3, no more...
u should hav used titanium backup, but u need to root ur phone to use this apps...

btw, what backup was it? is it rili important?

for those who doesn`t have wifi @ home....and want to connect internet on your phone using usb connection..it is possible since we`re got native usb tethering on our 2.3.3 phone... happy.gif

i noticed x10 battery life for 2.3 is much shorter compared to 2.1. before going to bed the battery life was at 60% but after i woke up i noticed my hp is off due to battery drained. anyone face the same or just my hp problem?

after upgraded to 2.3.3 using WB ROM...my phone battery depleted 15% within 1.5 hours.. vmad.gif

Could be because of the smartass CPU governor if you check CPUSpy it mostly runs on 998MHz, 245(seldom), mostly deep sleep(when screen off, like normal)

Titanium only backup the program setting and not the program. I was fooled also by this as when I backup and upgraded the new firmware. I lost all my program this way when backing up with titanium. User beware!!!

guysss,....i have big prob...please help me...i baru nk update my x10..when it process the update i silap tersentuh my wyr n suddenly it b error n not complete..when i open the phone..it appear blank n tanda seru n it mati tiba2..i try i try..it b a same...now my x10 cant b open....i try cabut bateri,simcard,mmry and all the same...waaaaaaaaa....please guys help...please solve my big prob

1.Before upgrade from Android 2.1 to SE Official Android 2.3 , backup your contact , sms & etc using "Backup and Restore"

2.Upgrade your phone to Android 2.3 following Sonyericsson Official Guide

3.Download Backup and Restore V010935.apk (Note: if you are download using IE , it might download as Backup and Restore V010935.rar , just untick "Hide extensions for known files type" in windows folder option then rename the ".rar" to ".apk" )

4.Copy "Backup and Restore V010935.apk" to "Download" folder in your memory card

5.go to Setting->Application-> tick "Unknown Sources"

6.Download & install "Astro Files Manager" from Market

7.Open "Astro Files Manager" ,found the "Download" folder and run & install "Backup and Restore V010935.apk"

8.Once it's done, you can now restore your contact , sms & etc by using the Backup and Restore

guys, how come the touch capture mode just immediately snap photos without focusing first.. in 2.1, it can focus when u touch the screen for like 1 or 2 seconds longer. but in gb u cant

Haha same exactly as mine, i flashed back to 3.6 untill wolf announce another better update.

I tried cyanogenmod 7.1, its suck. maybe i just dont like how they mod it.

i upgrade my x10i from android 1.6 to 2.3 ytd, but my camera didt not work well, it shows the error "activity camera (application camera) is not respond" and i only can choose to " force close or wait" ..

this will happen when i change my camera mode from 1 mode to another mode.. example: change from normal to marco auto focus..

i need some help from u...thanks a lot...

Actually I am wondering is this Official GB update available in Malaysia?? I am currently using WB 2.2, do I need to flash to stock 2.1 to update to 2.3.3?? Or I can just simply directly update using PC Companion?

I also see that WB is doing GB v3.6 but I click inside it shows v3.9?? which version is more stable?? does this ROM can fully utilize the camera and video recording function? does it has auto flash?

my phone cannot install 3.9.0 (with or w/o governor patch) .. stuck at SE boot..

now maintaining 3.8.2 so far ok.. still battery stand for 10 hours with 2g data and average brightness.

wb 3.8 is ok for me so far although it is slightly less responsive than 3.6, the only problem I faced in 3.8 is the cache partition and always showed insufficient space when downloading or updating app from market

However 3.9 feedback is even worse from what I read in xda so I choose to stay at 3.8 till wolf release a better version. =(

just flash my rom to Ultima 2.3 Fastest GB, it's super smooth compare with WB-XPERIA TW Gingerbread rom v3.9. u all can have a try, cos i hit 2100+ quadrant mark for this rom... btw, for you all info, WB-XPERIA TW Gingerbread V4.0.0 is just out!!! maybe someone have a try and let me know is it still lagging in this rom. Thanks.

but the rom i try just now still not stabil, its keep on shutdown after a while. so now flashing back to WB-XPERIA TW Gingerbread V3.5 first while waiting for V4.0 upload.

No. The watch wont work with Xperia.
it work with normal SE phone.
it vibrate when sms come , call in.
and u can control the media.

help me sad.gif( .I've tried to install gingerbread update on my xperia using flashtool but i dont know that i have to clean the custom ROM.and NOW,my phone stuck at the sony ericcson logo.it keeps appear again and again.i have used the PC companion but i can't detect it.

Erm you don't have to clean it. I think the .ftf/.zip you downloaded is corrupted try redownload and reflash?

anyone already tried the new ROM release from wolfbreak? mind sharing the performance of the ROM?

now i'm using v3.8 with features updates...got a few problem if the phone stay one more than 15 hours and if playing music non-stop for more than 4 hours. it becomes extremely lag and i have no choice but to take out the battery and restart. when i was using GB2.3.3 got none of this problem.

one thing to ask, at the xda forum, wolfbreak said would not wipe ur data means we just directly install the ROM without wiping any data is it?
the steps that required wiping cache.

yeap... i try the x-series custom kernel and it's doesn't work on my phone, only s-series can be use.

after that i flash my rom back into Ultima 2.3 GB by nasif, cause i still think that rom it's the fastest.
last time i flash this rom once b4, quite like it but keep on WLODS. so i back into WB rom again.
now this problem can be solve with install new custom kernel. zkernel is more suit to this rom coz it's more smooth compare with doomlords.

i'm now with 4.0.3 stock. set the setcpu to ondemand and cpuspy detected my deep sleep is a lot more than before..

my battery life is better.. but still not more than 18 hours with 3G and 20% display...last time only last up to 12 hours..

Ok, haven't been catching up on X10 thread after official Gingerbread. Getting tired of the stock firmware lag. This "WB-XPERIA TW Gingerbread V3.6.0 | 55fps, no Audio lag, xLoud & Bravia | 8/8/2011 by Wolfbreak" is the best custom firmware, yes? So what's NOT working? Thanks a lot. Looking forward to my first flash.

tested neocore highest i get is 30.9 fps,
nenamarkv1 20.9fps,
more free ram (during boot up i got 90++mb free ram imagine dat i have more than 50 apps installed..)
cpuspy detected my deep sleep is a lot more than before.. save my batt at least..

flashed wb v4.0.3 stock and so far very satisfied with its performance.　First time use CPU Master and has set to smartass_zmod mode and observing the battery usage.

BTW just a short question, what kernel do simply for overclock and undervolt? I still don't know what custom kernel actually do beside these two and wonder what the purpose to perform these two. Sound like it brings more harm to phone than benefit as I not really in heavy usage like heavy gamer...

i just flashed WB V4. any visible differences between V4 and V4.0.3? cos i read so many people said 4.0.3 consumes more batt. trying to stay with V4 for a while

My phone last charged 1 day 9 hrs and 40minute. Still left 63%. Normal usage. Sms and receive some calls. But no gaming. Bored playing phone game nw biggrin.gif

its really hard to brick the phone.. but it can happen to anyone

my advice before any minor or major update.. plz backup ur rom via xRecovery..

those on WB V4 and 4.0.3 update, do u have the Bravia and Xloud option visible? had 3.5 before and the option was there...

** found it** i tot it was included in V4.. seems like need to install manually....

Mean got backup via xrecovery mean still can 'revive' a brick phone rite?

Added on August 24, 2011, 11:08 amCause plan to by a 2nd phone use it as Mifi router. Betweeen x10 mini pro or Samsung Galaxy Mini 2ndhand. I can use my current U68 broadband sim so no need take data plan lor. If I swap my current sim with broadband sim, ppl can't call me lor.

I dunno what problem i'm facing..

Fully charged 100% becomes 93% in 50 minutes.. I did clear battery stats with xrecovery when it reached 100%.. gonna continue to monitor.. I'm on stock ROM.. huhu.. FallenOut sifu need your help/opinion tongue.gif

Last time on 1.6 stock firmware also drain gila like this (1 time only la). I unplug the batt. then put back normal already icon_rolleyes.gif

Previously root the phone and turn on the unknown sources and debugging. I had flashed several times. Dunno what's went wrong.

Now can't reboot and during bootup, no sony erricson logo at all. Try install SEUS and repair tool, no hope as well. But the phone can still can be detected using USB and green light if put into flash mode,

Anything i can do?

similar case with my 2.3.3, after fully charged 100%, it becomes nearly 10% drained in less than 1 hr. after 90%, it works fine. hmm.gif

try to root again your phonw.. using azuzu root, and pls follow the procedure..
-downgrade the kernel
-root it
-upgrade the kernel
-if succesfull it start hanging at se logo,, wait for a while.. sometime up to 2min..

hi guys, finally i reach my hometown, will try to upgrade my 3.5 WB rom to 4.03, what should I do since it doesnt wipe my data? just clear dalvik cache then flash it? should i backup all my apps, sms contacts etc etc?

Flash back via Bootloader.
Flashing via xrecovery basically wont fully brick your phone. Bootloader always there.
But once break, need long time reinstall all apps

Since flashmode is still there, why not just reflash it

I clear every time via battery calibration app, its easier, worth trying

ya me too on stock 2.3 gbred batt drain like mad, and 1 more thing why charging this phone taking so long time? i have tried with normal electric charger and pc charging still taking so longer time compare to my 3gs last time? is it normal or i need to use a real original se charger?

u have the latest PC companion installed?
When u launch it, and plug ur phone, can it detect? (dont put it to flash mode, just normal plug in)

btw, what firmware are you tryin to flash?
maybe its corrupted.. have u tried flashing other firmware?

then aku install addon (thememgr, googleapps, app&widgetpack, flashfix)... semua skali gus dlm xrec...

maybe ko boleh try Fix permission...
or rescan media from market...

any recently downloaded apps?
bt i do notice
100% to 85% the battery drain very fast
or mayb my phone about a year plus
try use setcpu to lower the cpu speed when screen is off
sometimes some apps misbehave and drink too much

Need to switch on

How am i support to switch on? i can't even switch on and see the Sony Ericsson logo when press the on/off button

Try to look in XDA forum, but SEUS is no longer has the repair button. It mention i have the lastest firmware. Very weird.

ok~ done upload...~i`ve port this lock into wolf rom (thx to alzbac)..and still can works in stock rom~
since wolf framework is based on stock..yes~stock rom can still flash this...
but others dont...(which is cyanogen rom or others which is not based on stock)...

download this and flash with xrecovery...
doesn`t wipe ur data...

more home screen for stock launcher is impossible cause it is based on .apk... i think some1 asked this on xda also.. but who knows .xml can be editted later... happy.gif

yeap..it is phone memory...btw use apps2sd which is provided in GB... happy.gif
not all apps can be move to sd in stock rom...but cm7 rom will do that for u..

for almost the same feel of SE stock launcher, but better... u can try GO Launcher... quite nice...
other than that, u can try ADw or LauncherPro...

for those who want to change their icon on settings (xloud and bravia engine included~!) for ROM that based on stock 2.3.3~

Sorry bro, I noob in flashing rclxub.gif . Just lerning to root my x10 after the stock GB update biggrin.gif. Mind to explain about the step or give me a thread about this. notworthy.gif
XREC is the a menu that press twice back button while X10 showing logo.
X10FlashTool version 0.2.9.1 provide by azuzu - can use the app to flash ah? or put the 'file' in microSD card and flash using the menu.
Bro do u know about this I saw someone anonymous in a LRT using SGS 1 got some control button eg screen brightness control, play and pauses n ...on the notification bar/tray.

i use WB 4.04 rom. Which rom gives less power consumption? 4.04 custom or stock? I try the custom but it heating my phone and battery drain fast at average usage. should i change it to stock?

Is the original camera software. Just press the camera button to take photo. I guess the X10 are running on 2.3.3 cause after the update I feel the pic quality PQ improve.

Guys,
I flashed the xLoud and Bravia engine provided a few pages back.
Problem is I lost the power controller, you know, the widget where you can toggle wifi, GPS, bluetooth and screen brightness.
Can someone point me to how I can get it back?

I've updated my X10 to stock gingerbread yesterday.I notice the phone interaction are much faster and of course I welcome the other eye candy features.There is only one problem I think worth mentioning and to ask opinion from fellow users.After the update,does your phone still be able to play(software decode) videos like .avi .flv and etc without time lag(out of sync)?Usually I use Moboplayer and Rockplayer,but all apps failed too.Do share me your experiences and solution if available.Thanks.

faced same problems as yours too few weeks back..then i just use moboplayer...sometimes it cant play anything at all, but just a restart, it can work well.

no luck..restart few times,installed codecs,free up RAM,move app to sd and use different players..I noticed that it can't even software decode .mp4 format..I suspect I need to reflash the ROM.

Actually it just stuck at SE logo, I tried to reflash again and again only it works...now on GB WB but why is it only v4.0.0? I thought it is v4.0.4 as stated in the web @@

get market enabler and change to any USA carrier and it will auto update the market to the latest that's what I noticed when I tried on Official GB..

hi guy,

want to ask anyone try to downgrade their firmware before using flash tool?as i got error saying pls turn on unknown source and debugging which i have then i hold the back button of my phone then connect the usb to pc to start flash but the error still pop up saying to turn on unknown source and debugging.pls help.

Did anyone use the gps hack software posted previously? I installed it and cant turn off my gps? zzz

Added on August 30, 2011, 9:33 pmPersonally I found that WB GB is bit laggy compared to his froyo. I didnt install any software except handcent sms, when i want to type msg, the whole screen will lagged and the keyboard only pop out. Same goes for the stock keyboard.

i'm trying to try different kernel...so i go to xda website..try the doomlord kernel...in the thread, it says can flash the kernel package via Recovery, so i download it, flash it using xRec, but it stuck at android logo, then i reboot and wipe cache and Dalvik cache, still the same.

before this i'm using zdzihu kernel...need help here.. icon_question.gif

Bootloader is haven't unlocked although rumour stated unlocked.
Rooting doesn't need bootloader to be unlocked.

Try flash again? Did you factory reset, wipe cache and wipe dalvik cache before flashing the ROM?

My phone had a very weird problem today. Its running on stock GB.

Usually i charge the phone using the power adapter, the battery will last long as usual.

Today morning, i charged the phone using usb from pc (i switched on the phone after the battery reach 100%)

I didnt use the phone since morning and i took the phone just now at 11 pm. The battery level dropped from 100% to 19% rclxub.gif

I didnt encounter such situation before when charging using the power adapter sweat.gif

What is the actual problem ?

download battery calibration from market and follow its instructions see if that helps..

or try unplugging battery from the phone and leave for 5 minutes first den plug back in..

every time i charge my phone till 100%, when unplug, it will quickly drop to around 97-94 in few minutes, then i plug in again, charge it again to 100%, then when unplug, it will be back to normal, drop 1% for few hours

I need some help here... this morning my bro wanna try out my X10i so he did the factory reset on my phone (to setup his gmail account as primary)

then my X10i went into bootloop mode...
so I went into Xrecovery mode
WIPE FULL
WIPE CACHE
WIPE DALVIK

then when I tried to install the TW3.5.ZIP, it keeps mentioning resource or device busy hence can't mount the SD card... now I'm just stucking at the Xrecovery mode there...

anyone can help me out there? thanks!

Why not use Xperia TW4.0.4?? Update to the SE 2.3.3 update first then root and installl xrecovery as shown in post 3 here..

ya. 4.0.4(stock kernel ) is good enough and i more recommend using tat.. really save lot battery. u try go download "current widget" from market. it's free and u can monitor ur battery log. It take 1hr 45min (average) to drop 1% of battery (no coming call, no sms, just sleep mode) and take 3min to drop 1% on game.

dont use custom stuff, just use stock, without OC or UV, or else, you have to face instability, some will kena, some wont, it depends on your luck, using stock 4.0.4 right now, 12 hours only drop 4%, without UV, when i sleep everyday, i will keep on notice how much will it drop when i sleep and when i wake up, if there's force close or weird thing happen to your app, just go to xrecovery and fix permissions, everything will be fine

Hahahahh really suspen when u want to perform root, but once successfull, a lot of thing u can do with your phone,after succesfull root pls install titanium backup, busy box and xrecovery, and enjoy updated customm rom from xda heheuhehe

try restart ur phone and create again. I use maxis b4 need 2 set of setting 1. for wap 2. for mms. Now using umobile prepaid no data plan hehe

I just rooted my x10, all this while was using stock 2.3.3.

I just realized that I need to read the instructions properly

It took me nearly 3 hours just to root the phone doh.gif which supposedly would take 5 minutes ?

Luckily i didn't brick the phone laugh.gif

Added on September 4, 2011, 8:15 amGuys, is the WB 4.04 stable compared to WB 3.6 ? Which of this ROM has better battery life ?

Just root again ur device, I also face the same situation as u before, root again and ur pc will detect ur device driver.

yess WB4.04c is stable, faster yes battery life improve after did battery calibration..

got this problem when changing from zkernel to doomlord kernel...
its wireless connection...i can connect to my home wireless, but it always in Limited Connection state, while my laptop can connect to internet with no problem at all...the username and password of the modem is correct, try restart the modem a few times also the same..try with the phone in more than 90% charge battery...still got the problem...just now i manage to get Blade Wifi Fix v1.0, doesnt help much, still Limited Connection.. cry.gif

Compare between my stock 1y ago 1.6 donut with current 2.3.3 GB like being changing a brand new phone laugh.gif

Thanks smile.gif I have updated to WB4.04c but im just having some error when access the themes. Other than that, its nice and stable.

happened to me as well. when i use wifi, sometimes the apps will crash (dolphin hd) and i cannot off the wifi.

second one is problem with themes, there will be an error whenever i try to open the themes settings.

third problem, the live wallpaper will flicker sometimes. (half of the screen will not have problem, the other half will flicker).

this flicker will only happen when using live wallpaper.

EDIT : All the problems will be gone after rebooting, but after sometime it will repeat the above problems.
