Ok, haven't been catching up on X10 thread after official Gingerbread. Getting tired of the stock firmware lag. This "WB-XPERIA TW Gingerbread V3.6.0 | 55fps, no Audio lag, xLoud & Bravia | 8/8/2011 by Wolfbreak" is the best custom firmware, yes? So what's NOT working? Thanks a lot. Looking forward to my first flash.

I've asked this before, but I aborted my plans. Now going to root and flash the latest and greatest ROM onto my X10. Which is the best? Are the links on the FP still applicable? Mine is virgin stock 2.3.3. Thanks!~

EDIT: never mind, I'll just root, xrecovery, remove bloatware, install FPS uncap / audio lag / bravia engine. Thanks for any advice

I'm on stock 2.3.3 with audio fix, FPS uncap and removed bloatware. Can I still flash 4.0.4s? Later if I want to revert to stock 2.3.3, how do I do it?

I cannot find 4.0.4s anymore. Has this been replaced by V06?

But V06 is not an update, it's a complete ROM, right? Any problems with this ROM? Everything working fine?

I am facing a problem with my SMS, whereby all the carriage returns are removed. Please refer to the image below - the top SMS was received by my Samsung. I have since restored all the SMS onto my X10. The bottom SMS was received by my X10, with carriage returns missing the stock Messaging app also displays the same thing. Why does this happen and how do I solve it?

Yeah my battery on stock 2.3.3 drains like hell too. Previously on 2.2.1 the phone EASILY lasts 1 day without those battery-saving apps, with the same usage. And Gingerbread was supposed to have better power management! Apa lah. Now have to use Green Power to switch off 3G when idle, can usually last 1 day.

Yeah. Still serves me well for my daily use. CM7 mods coming soon too so there's more to play with as well

Your Fit contacts should be synced to Google Contacts. Once you enter the same Gmail account in your X10i, your contacts should automatically sync again.

Yes, laggier than Froyo. I flashed the FPS uncap update and it become a totally different phone. You should try it too! Root required.

Went to SE center just now to ask about my de-pressed and soft back button. Was told it is not under warranty. If want to change, need to change the whole housing, RM3xx. Warranty only applies if button doesn't function.

x10 is ancient. BTW, still looking for SP? I have like 3 or 4 unused. If interested I'll send 1 to you, I'll only charge you RM1 for the postage

Becos Maxis clear stock... last few weeks it was Galaxy S by viper88, he sold for RM800 brand new only... as stock got less, it went to RM850, then RM900... now no more...

Didn't get it yet, but reserved one with the RM650 guy. At RM6xx, just grab la. Otherwise not thinking to buy, will use X10 until it dies, since hard to sell now luckily my X10 still reliable.

BTW, want to try custom ROM, but don't want to do anything to my bootloader and kernel since I don't understand even after reading about it. Locked bootloader still can flash rite? Thinking of this MIUI one, bagus ke?
