The engineers from Ford US said they used L mode exclusively on Fiesta for thousand of miles and no problem so far.

use L mode to feel the power and pickup, probably during a street race or adrenalin rush hour...
not recommended for uphill or downhill, the hill assist button is better fyi, our L mode is totally different concept from others such as Proton or Perodua L mode |

I go down a very steep hill everyday when coming back from work, and i found L is helpful, pretty much like engine braking. I can go down the hill with minimal braking compared to other gears. |

No L mode for manual. You control the gear manually.

QUOTE(danny_sp15 @ Nov 5 2011, 09:12 PM) Sort of.... Becoz even though the torque is 300NM but due to heavy chassis, the acceleration is just ok. Been told that the Mondeo used hydraulic for power steering instead of EPS... The audio system also quite bad even though the NVH for this car is good. |
