Oh I see smile.gif Well I love doing reviews.Stopped doing reviews after having to do other things in mind(cycling is my most activity up to date). But as for beats.Need time to burn in 1st.I will definitely do reviews on sound by this Saturday for this laptop.Especially to what HP claims "delivering sound with beats is different than any other"

That with auto switch or fixed?

Btw, can u try this.. while u playing Crysis, Alt+Tab to Desktop and open Task Manager.
Goto Process tab, find Crysis2 executable, right click and select Set Affinity. Untick CPU 4,5,6,7 and click OK.
Continue play Crysis2 while monitor the temps and graphic performance.

AFAIK, Marcus stay in KL too.

That is under fixed mode. Well, after i updated the new BIOS, i ditched the dynamic... for now sweat.gif
Erm.... what does that do?

QUOTE(lee_what2004 @ Aug 9 2011, 05:25 PM)
Still within safe range..

Sifu lee... can i ask what is the safe range of hdd temp? Mine is toshiba hdd. The temps this afternoon~evening max is 44 degrees because i was playing crysis 2 for 3 hours...
And now at night, after a session of another crysis 2, the temp is 41-43 degrees, is it ok ar?

QUOTE(KayDash @ Aug 9 2011, 07:28 PM)
Erm... the HP 3 years carry in for pavillion, G series and others, that one is carepack ar? Now on promotion of Rm180? Can buy just it or need to buy bundled with the other laptop promotions? Coz the individual carepacks that i find is pretty hefty.... will burn deep deep hole in my shallow pocket... sweat.gif

It will disable core 5-8. Hopefully it will reduce the max temps but the graphic performance remain.

Oh... so 50 degrees and above is the red danger zone?
From the OpenHardWareMonitor, mine is Toshiba MK7575GSX (the model number is quite nice to remember, ROFL!!!!)
Erm... what does the model number signifies? hmm.gif
Mine the temps mostly lingers around 39-44 like that, when gaming, on the higher side, when idle or watch movies/browsing forums, the lower side...

Oh.... i see... Will try it some times. Damn acid, the crysis 2 is quite addictive ever since i got the nano catalysts counter to work properly with v.1.8 update. But i tried to update v1.9 and it said it cant locate my crysis 2. I install it in D: drive, you install it where? Funny since v1.8 can update and v1.9 cannot... doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif

Oh... i see i see... So i think my temps are okok is it?

Erm, last time i downloaded the version on your signature and it doesnt detect my GPU, but i can detect hdd. Then i go download the latest one (forgot is which version) and it managed to detect everything... Well, now when im using the Intel HD3000, the GPU is not detected. When im using Radeon HD6770M then only the GPU is detected which i think is normal after i changed it to manual switching...

Edit: Whoa!!! Meaning Efalex's HDD is 1TB!? shocking.gif shocking.gif
