Offline game is there for a reason. I know they will say current geenration u have easy access to internet and other nonsense

but there will be times you are not hook on the internet and just want to play. Something like those people on the go using their laptops. You dont get wifi everywhere and while waiting or something u just wanna play.

If they intro the online shit I will still play the game but jack sparrow version. If they have proper offline game then i will buy that game

I don't think there is even a particle-sized chance for Blizzard to remove the stupid always online DRM because if they remove it they can't have the real money auction house.

No real money auction house = less profits for them, so the people in charge is not going to let that happen.

They will probably do a soft connection check like some of EA's games, in sparing intervals.

No way blizzard is gonna remove the online DRM thingy, the whole game is design around that idea from the start. Learn to accept the fact already...it is here to stay...

If you lurk the official D3 forums almost nobody talks about the online DRM coz they don't care...

Yeah, the same problem occurs again. Just like the lack of P2P from MW2 where it become a trend in certain shooters. Other developers will think that this practise is acceptable among gamers, and then, you'll see more games using the same online only DRM later on.

Ubisoft use the same online only DRM, everyone hates it as if DRM pack a pile of shit in your game, to the point where people actually cracking their original game.

While Blizzard do the same thing, it looks like everyone just praise it as if it is a great idea. The truth is, same shit in different package.

It also shows how blind some Blizzard fans can be, where some hated practise by other company by other gamers can be something that is acceptable.

I have Splinter Cell Conviction, which uses pretty much the same thing as what Blizzard is using now. No internet, no Convinction as it needs internet to start the game, despite its a solo game. And i wont buy any other Ubisoft game because of that, as i dont want my internet connection to become another factor just to enjoy a game.

What Blizzard is doing will affect those who play single player, but no difference for multiplayer. Probably wont be much players playing single player anyway.

right. D3 is move towards MORPG (without the massive), so i guess it justify. Ubi in the other hand offers mostly singleplayer gameplay.

Thats true the pain in the ass is probably only the first time you play, as i am intending to play solo.

After that, co-op all the way to Hell.

Anyone wanna share their build here for monk?
I plan to make a tank monk.
http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/monk

Already have my eyes set on some of the weapons. drool.gif

My first take on tank monk
http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/monk...;aXU!acYcca

What do you think?
Basically, just stacking dmg reduction with stuns, and grabbed a few armor and hp.
