How much is this phone now? Damn cheap like what.

I also wonder if the XiaoMi Foxconn phone will be the next OEM phone for these.

Hye guys, i just bought my CSL Mi410 recently. When i bought it is installed with android version: 2.3.4, baseband version: PR232, kernel version: Apps_2.6.32.9-perf and build number 5012_3_18D..

But what i experience was the phone restarts it self sometimes. Have anyone experience anything like this before?

Plz do help me. Tq smile.gif

Its just you, I have none of those symptoms. Send it back for repairs then

I won't want to waste my time to talk to their technical team. They didn't even understand the impacts of factory reset.

Flash to WellCom like i mention. So far all of them change already no problem. Flashing guide please see the first page. Good luck icon_rolleyes.gif

Ya, I know, but WellCom is old version like Froyo 2.2. The problems are actually due to 2.3.4 Gingerbread. Anyway, consider myself lucky. My friend bought the Samsung SII, after spending closed to 2k, same problems like the RM 799. That one is hurt... biggrin.gif

Yeah everyone probably does hahaha...

before you take any advice from any of us here, you gotta understand we are not responsible to what ever you do that may void the warranty of your device. now with that being said I'd recommend you flash to Wellcom 2.3.4 rom first, it's much more stable than the stock CSL rom and has a lot less problems.

If the problem still persists like mine, root your phone and install the RC1 custom rom, followed by the RC2.

the instructions to do so are in the first post, so you can refer to it. if not too sure better do a backup first and ask the sifus here haha

honestly i think that kedai cant really fix lo haha... cuz the phone restarts due to a poor memory management, then it just kenot tahan then poof reset LOL. that always happens for my phone, at least.

flashing to another rom im not sure if it voids warranty but u gotta make sure if u wana send for fixing u flash it back to the CSL rom lo. good luck buddy

In fact, b4 I bought this phone, I had surveyed at Prangin Mall, BJ & Bayan Baru. The cheapest price I got is rm999. This doesn't matter since the difference is only rm29.

But the only terrible thing is just after 1 month, the price drop till rm499 (during promo) (cheezzzz said he bought at rm399 during expo)

So, this make me think myself like an idiot to buy this phone at rm999. This is the 1st time I bought CSL phone, previously I'm Nokia fan.

In my experienced, there are no other brands like CSL, the price will drop so drastic in the short period. I think next time I won't buy CSL anymore. If I buy CSL in the future, I think I will buy an old model of CSL phone (coz can buy at cheap cheap cheap... price).

I bought this phone back in March 2011 at that time the phone was selling at RM1400. I am happy with this phone even thou the price has drop drasticly.

yo, agreed with u man! nothing is perfect in this world. Only differ is less problematic or many problems, tats all.

i've flashed to all the roms, seems like RC2 is very stable for me. I also running supercharger setting 6 as recommended. so far so good. gps really lock faster than stock roms and also batt life is better now.

truly thanks to all sifu here for the guidelines and also tj_style for the mighty rom for this phone smile.gif

Good to you if you think in that way, at least you won't hurt wink.gif
But not for me happy.gif
Since I learned from this lesson, next time if I still consider to buy CSL, I will wait and buy it during expo or special promotion tongue.gif

after install you need to find chainfire plunging you find it by googling (keep on .zip file) then you need to install CF3D driver (you can find inside chainfire by clicking it) install all plunging as well...after all done go to open GL to choose plunging. using chainfire 3d not recommended on gingerbread after you install CF3D driver you will lose notification LED light (top of phone) also light's lose on four hard keys ..backlight always on (can see a different before and after , a screen look bright on sleep mode) makes your phone easily get hot and drain a battery fast (only can hold 5 hour every full charged even on standby ) the solution only one uninstall CF3D (no need uninstall chainfire) if you don't want to use it.
