MIUI did use more battery, that is the price to be paid for the UI. If you wanted more battery life install something lighter like MacLite-FB0

It could be there is something that prevented it from going to sleep mode. I suggest you install something to control CPU speed like SetCPU and reduce clock when its running simple apps and most importantly when the screen off. That would save battery life significantly.

It depends on you, really. Different people will suggest different ROM, try to read back few pages and see what I mean.

If you asked me use the one I use, CM7 build by edowar. Its been very stable and most of the things worked (HDMI don't though but I don't use it).

does the battery life better than RC2??
although i'm happy already with RC2's battery life,it gave me nearly 24 hours for 2 hours of wifi,3 hours of 2D gaming,1 hour of 3D gaming(Asphalt 5 HD) and i underclocked mine to 800MHz and i haven't got any random reboot when using this ROM maybe becoz i always turned my phone of when charging.. smile.gif

Yup it is better and smoother. RC2 Sharp Launcher is laggy and jerky, I don't like it. I take stock Launcher any day for smoothness. I usually underclock all the way to 460MHz when just browsing and listening to music, playing Angry Bird is fine at this frequency. Only some demanding game like GTA 3 and Gangstar Miami Vindication needs to be run at full speed for smoothness

Common sense, if your car could go 160km/h but you drive 100km/h will it save fuel?
