QUOTE(liquidsny @ Jun 1 2013, 08:11 PM) is it only cimb allow instant transfer for IBG right now ? Maybank also offers this instant funds transfer too. And also another two or three banks. QUOTE(liquidsny @ Jun 1 2013, 08:11 PM) i was thinking on signing up for public bank acc if they had instant ibg transfer I believe Public Bank call theirs as Quick Pay. Service fee is RM2 for transfer to local and foreign Islamic bank. Foreign Islamic bank refers to bank such as Kuwait Finance House. Transfer to local foreign bank will cost you RM4. Examples of local foreign bank is HSBC and UOB.

Senior, need some advice here.
I'm trying to use the IBG transfer to pay my Condo Management fee. It is park under CIMB Bank with account name 'JMB-PV10(MF)'.
Now my problem is, when I try to key in M2U Recipient name, it does not allow any Symbol or Numeric in the Recipient name column. So in that case what should I key in? Even there is the recipient mobile number, can I just key in my number? Is the Recipient name important that must be match with the Account Number?
Sorry, no experience on this type of transaction.
Hope someone can help.
Thanks

QUOTE(ronnie @ Jun 3 2013, 10:07 AM) I will suggest to type : JMB PV10 MFHow come CIMB allows opening account with such name format ??? Thanks for reply Ronnie. However, the '10' is consider numeric, so still does not allow me to go. Wonder if I put my name in Recipient name, will it reject later as it does not match to the Account Holder name?

QUOTE(henshin80 @ Jun 3 2013, 10:47 AM) Maybe you can try JMB PVTEN MF? I call up CS, they say should be fine, as long as the Account Number is correct. So I did my transfer yesterday before 12pm. By today the Recipient still have not received? Is that normal? I thought, the conditon is if I transfer before 12pm, it should be received within the same day. Which work very well for me to transfer to UOB all these year. I just double check the next day, sure received. Is that due to this account is Current account or due to CIMB?

If same day, I can understand or wait until before 12am also reasonable. Now I have check on next day also not received. Hope will received by today after 7pm then. Will call them up to check on tomorrow morning.

I guess must be the staff who check the account having issue.
