Is there any autodebit function on GIRO? if no anyone mind sharing which banks have free auto debit for scheduled transactions?

Auto debit is standing instruction. You kist set it and it will be carried out. However the time each transaction is carried out varies with banks.

It is free
Normally they will open a JustOne Personal account for you these days. MEPS GIRO and IBFT are both free for this account.
*
The thing is don't want to deposit rm1500 every month into the account. Practically no interest. Also I don't want to pay for atm card. So if can open a SCB account, i will close my truesavers. After all IBFT is always better than IBG.

Debit card is free, as in no annual fee at all. And you don't have to deposit 1.5k every month. You only need to do that to enable the 1% bonus interest as well as unlimited local interbank ATM free cash withdrawals. You'll be charged first for each local interbank ATM cash withdrawal and fee will be reimburse on the first day of the following month.
*
Nice. So withdrawal from SCB atm is still FOC right?

Actually they don't need token. All they need is start implementing 2FA authentication with Google authenticator.

This is referring to JustOne Account right (be it the normal one or the priority). CS contacted and said that for the free IBG/IBFG, there must be minimum deposit of RM1,500 a month. In addition, there will be an annual charge of the debit card (CS say must get the debit card, no opt out option) of RM8. Is this true?
*
Yes. Just one. However what you say is false.
My account have rm5 I still get free transfer.
Just one account is free. No yearly fees.

I always feel whatever the CS say is not as accurate as what you lyn members have experienced. Not sure is it due to change in t&c or wat. What I understand from the website is as long as you have that account, your ibg/ibft (made online) is free and there is no requirement of deposit or anything, not even the annual fee because it is not even stated in the product disclosure and terms and conditions of the account.
*
Read the TnC and confirm with the worker that it is free. The rm1500 is only if you want the freee meps and interest. If you want it, just put in rm1500.Then remove it straight away.

If you don't want the free meps (but you will still get free transfer and not changed yearly fees), just leave how much you want inside there. I leave rm0 inside. biggrin.gif.

When I opened I transferred rm1500 inside for "activation" then wait one day. Next day remove everything.

Thanks a lot for the info. Most banks would need a minimum balance but it is interesting to see that you can leave RM0 in the account.  rclxms.gif

Even with maybank I leave rm1 inside. You just need to experiment see how much is the min amount they allowed
