My previous problem was I click on the download link but it cannot download. After getting APNdroid i've solved my problem.

i know its quite easy to root(root only) but i sked if suddenly mosquito bite u then u shocked then u accidentally click on something not right......
if flying cockroach lagi worse......

prob! when i have put in a 16gb card into my ace, many problems come along.
1st most of the games cant be played or opened (some can open but cant play eventually).
then, all my photo disappear afterward..
then even when i try re install all games, stil they cant be played.
even when i try to snap pic, those photos crash and corrupted(show funny, croped photos).

i used my Ace for about 1 month
but few days ago i found that my 3G isnt working for application

i can browse with browser, no issue

but all my application such as weather, facebook, even market not able to receive anything

and the battery suddenly drain up in one night without any usage while i sleeping
charge full until 9pm, wake up 8am phone already off

did u formated 16Gb before use?
i have no issues with 8Gb...


connecting to internet via wifi or wireless broadband?

if via wireless broadband, facebook apps will take a lot of time to load all data.. .quite normal...
but market, no comments as i use wifi to connect to market only...

is it bcos of Screen Of Death? or u can see the battery drained up to 0% while u charging it?

only when using 3G then have this problem

no, it cant load at all, so as my email account.
i have used it for a month so i know the loading speed.

i can charge it full last nite
but i wake up today the phone is off
i try to on it show battery is 0%

log in to my digi ocs and send the internet setting to my phone
install it it and now working perfectly

i believe the setting is changed by some application such as battery saver app

now hv to monitor the battery usage
i suspect due to data problem my facebook/weather app keep connecting and drain up the battery

u can set ur SGA limited for EDGE if u having the problem connect to 3G by enable "use 2G network only"
it can save ur battery life too as 3G draining ur battery easily...

new SGA user here....is there any way to actually download apps from market using comp n then install it in my phone..cz i dun hav wireless broadband in my home...n dun want to use credit to surf internet =/

i dont think can download the setup file from market into PC and install in SGA later...
but nowadays quite plenty of places have free wifi such as McD or Starbuck... just stand beside the shop and download apps...

hi,so my sis just bought the galaxy ace today...a few question i needed to ask here :
1) Did the original firmware come with app2sd?
2) Which custom rom is stable for now? (preferable those with beginner's guide as i am still a beginner in flashing)
3) Any recommended hd game for the phone?
4) If i am going to go for custom rom, there's no need for me to root for now right? since flashing will remove the root?

2 . Fla.sh ROM or CodeROM (Both flash via Odin) Really recommend u flash original firmware from Samsung first XXKPH or XWKPN
3. U can find most HD game which is ported to our phone here www.galaxy-ace.in
4. No need Root. Flashing remove root and all custom rom comes pre-rooted anyway.

how do i flash original firmware? never done that before.lols..(btw,did you mean that i flash to original firmware then only flash to the custom rom?

It's better that way.. No complication.. Many ppl got problem flash straight from froyo to Custom ROM.. Better flash Gingerbread first than go custom ROM..

Official gingerbread have not arrived 2 this country yet

Official from Samsung is for europe.. Most Custom ROM are europe base.. Either KPN or KPH.. Here is a detailed guide..
