Help~ this afternoon i just learn about "Set Screen Lock", then i think it not really useful for me so i click "None" which disable screen lock and it back to normal locking..

but jus now i try that again show my bro, and now i cant disable it, the Screen Lock Pattern still shown at the locking screen after i disable it..

more worse is.. i can draw any pattern to unlock it, ANY pattern, what's wrong???

hi guys i m thinking of getting a mid range android phone. want to sell my nokia phone already since there is nothing i can do on it...symbian is dead. been thinking of getting this phone but my main question is about the battery life. how many days can the battery last? mind sharing your phone general usage & how many days it last before going to 0?

btw who is selling for RM795? the cheapest i found in garage sales was rm81+ i think...somewhere around there.

honestly i don't recommend to buy this phone due to it's wifi/SOD issues 3 of my friends bought it also have the same issues...one even bought few days ago...maybe you could try to ask around here for other alternatives

yes u can but better be on the safe side rite so flash stock KPH or KPN first before flashing coderom and do the wipe in recovary

if you heavy in browsing and gaming... battery wont last more than 24 hours for sure...

if moderate usage, about 2 days...

if you limit your SGA to 2G only, rare to use wifi and surf internet and gaming, just for some voice call and messaging... battery can last 3-4 days no issues...

wonder, when u guys flash it via odin, will the IMEI number still remain the same? juz worried on these .

i dont think OS stored the IMEI...

if OS store IMEI, means the developer can change the IMEI as they like which will effected the warranty issues... so the IMEI should hard-coded into handphone instead permanently...

Guys, i am goin to flash into this rom, so i juz put cooper in OPS and the whole tar file which i downloaded from its website into 1package section and then start flashing?

I've just register my gmail id in google marketplace and when I want to change it to other gmail it ask to format the phone, there must be a better way, no?

if u mean for the first version rom which is V2X-02 yes tick one package in Odin and after that flash again for the V2X-2B with only the code and csc file...
but u could just only flash the stock KPH or KPN and after that just flash the 2B rom instead...

its in the S5830 xda thread also i think its in page 20 or 21 the dev put a download link there first or just go to its new thread still in the same main thread but dedicated to V2X-2B

that might be a soft brick only try taking out the battery and boot into download mode again... flash with stock KPH or KPN before u flash to coderom flashing will only take 4-5 minutes top more than that sure something not done right

and if you need Chinese font support on Custom Rom , please backup ur original fonts then after your flash replace it then u can see Chinese word ready .. (tested on CodeROM v2-2b)

You are having SoD.

Maybe it is ur wifi error , try not to turn on / connect to wifi 24 hours... off it when u not using it..
open your keypad and type in *#*#526#*#* when u saw "error" in ur wifi..

or sent to samsung service center

Wifi was being turning on izzit? Becoz mani incident about automatic shut down is caused by opening wifi while let it in sleep mode. Thats a bug...
