Never mess with CPU voltage, cos not familiar lol

But i did oc to 1.566ghz using faux kernel, leedroid 3.0 ROM
*
why arent you on the latest 3.1 rom and leedroid kernel 3.3?

There's a reason for those updates you know, and its to fix bugs or issues.

Both processors are the same, MSM8260. HTC Sensation was underclocked by HTC to 1.2Ghz, while XE version was left alone at the original clock speed of 1.5Ghz.

Bigger battery?, how much bigger?, for the price I will be paying for XE I might as well go buy a BIGGER battery at a lower cost (Anker 1900ma). I can also get Beats Headphone myself for lower cost. Did I also mention that Beats Headphone bundled with XE version isn't exactly the best headphone out there?, and not exactly the cheapest either?, being endorsed by a Celebrity does not mean it's perfect. Hell, the people that designed and made those Beats Headphones probably didn't give a shit about who the F Dr. Dre is.

The XE, personally, is pure marketing bullshit.

Last but not least, use a converter to convert the currency. I'm pretty sure you're smart enough to Google that up yourself.

HTC reminds me so much of SE in their peak years .... Take a K750 , change the firmware and it becomes W800 ..... S500 , redesign the housing and it becomes a W-series

Yeap, with the price dropping, normal sensation definitely more worth it...after you buy go get yourself some nice headphones with the money you saved from buying an XE.

I'm not sure what you're asking, but I'm pretty sure the phone itself doesn't limit data speed. What radio version are you on?, is it the recommended version for Leedroid V3.2?

Thanks axel

I'm using recomended radio from leedroid.
Actually I compare my stock radio is same with his recomendef, but I still flash anyway

I just curious cos I hardly bypass 1mb even using wifi. With dataplan its worse

But when I tested in my pc, the speed can go up to 1.5mb

P/s just flash leedroid latest Rom n kernel.
I still having same issue using his kernel. Each time reboot, HTC sense will force close n restart.

well bootloop happens in all ROMS, unless it is stated final stable release.
however lee's is the best. oh, i have no speed limitation in my sensation.

i have vip10 at home, and can tether 1080p video thru my sensation smoothly.

Azel, I flash Leedroid ROM V3.1.0 and the kernel V3.3.0.
Do I need to flash to radio again after that?

Btw, using location for GPS... phone went super hot..almost 50 celcius..till the phone reboot itself...

No such thing as the best single device, all has its own pros and cons. You can also get a Galaxy S2 at that range, and many other models.

What radio are you on?, if you're already on the recommended radio no need to flash since Lee's Rom is still based on the 1.45 RUU not 1.72/1.73 like the XE based ROMS.

ATTENTION:

Guys, if you have bootloops, issues with Leedroid 3.1 Kernel 3.3 or any other ROM, I suspect its more towards user caused issues and less to do with ROM issues.

I mean, I'm using the exact same phone with exact same ROM and Kernel (leedroid), I never had bootloops before, it only reboots when i set my voltage too low but otherwise thats it, never experienced any issues at all.

If you guys have problem, do a full wipe, DO NOT BACKUP SYSTEM DATA with Titanium Backup, only backup user apps + data. Flash ROM, then kernel (if you want to use other kernel) and reboot the phone, go through setup and let it sit for awhile to sync stuff and sort itself out. After that only install themes and whatnot.

For the record, not all MODS work with all ROMS, and a custom MOD for a ROM might not work for newer versions of the ROM.

And my take on apps, DON'T INSTALL TOO MANY DAMN APPLICATIONS, especially those that run A LOT of background services/processes etc. RULE of THUMB, if you use an app less than 5 times a week, YOU DON't NEED IT!, make a backup in TB and uninstall!

Last but not least, READ THE f***ING thread in XDA or whatever forum you found your ROM on, more often than not your issue would have been reported by other users already.

IMHO, Not all phone are create equally, taken from my experince, well, im using ARHD 3.6.0, When it was release, People are complaining about bootloops, camera malfuntioning, video recording when rec screen turn blue, Power + home for screenshot not working even after editing builds.prop. or picture taken are all scramble. all are from clean rom, no data backup or apps or mod installed, but i never had the problem. not even 1 of the mention above. even kernel, my fren had the same sensation as mine, both bought from the same place, i flash he flash the same thing since we mostly doing while working =p, but his device cant support oc to 1.56 or even 1.7, he will get bootloops, but my device can support both. well, just my 1 cent.

sigh, if what you're saying is true, that would mean each phone can be really "unequal" depending on the situation.

Which makes me wonder about the quality control procedures on HTC manufacturing/assembly plants, not strict enough perhaps?

Did his phone have any problems when he was unrooted and on stock ROM?
