Dude, it doesnt say anything about losing Sense 3.0, if you are referring to S-Off that means Security Off, not Sense off.

currently most of the roms are htc sense 3.0 based, with optional patch of htc sense removal.

Ok i will google it later. If i want to just root and install clockwoRk mod i just need to do step 1 to 3 right? I assume that it wont restore the sensation n sdcard right? Flashing roms will restore the sensation n sdcard?

umm i don't understand, but if you do step 1-3 there will be basically no changes to your phone visually. Unless you format your sdcard, flashing ROMS, wiping, factory reset etc will not erase any data on our sd card, only internal phone memory.

lol, most of us here are on leedroid, ARHD and a few insertcoin, i don't know if theres anyone on virtuous or not though. But yeah, I can pretty much say there's great improvements in battery life for 2.3.4 based ROMS, but it still depends on your usage though.

What app do you have cause based on my usage experience, Skype has battery drainage issues.
I killed Skype process and damn, my battery life is so much better.

dont have to estimate bro, you can check for the info. setting > about phone > battery > battery use > display > time on (total screen up time)

I didn't turn on the Skype. Just turn on the wireless , playing some setting on the phone and i think maybe due to my wife play game for few hours non stop. @@
