i wanna ask u guys a question, that is if you update the sensation, like from 4.3.3 to 4.3.4 (EXAMPLE), will it totally delete all my stuff in the phone and become like the phone when you first got it?
one more thing, how do i backup android apps to my pc? iphone has itunes, but what about android? lets say i update it, can i open a app that restores my phone to my last backup?
thanks!

QUOTE(teh_master @ Aug 18 2011, 10:30 AM) 1st question: if you go for official update (OTA), you wont lose any of your user data. if you flash custom rom (update of same rom ie 4.3.3 to 4.3.4), it also will not affect your user data unless you switch to another rom, then you'll have a fresh device with stock setting. 2nd question: backup of android applications is only applicable for rooted phones via an application - titanium backup. it backups and stores it at SD Card, which restores application and user data after flashing custom rom. we need no application like itunes to backup applications to pc. oh ok thx for the answers! edit: any link on how to root the sensation? i only can find temp-root Added on August 18, 2011, 12:16 pm1 more question, is there anyway to use the stock android brower instead of the htc browser without rooting the sensation? QUOTE(AzeL @ Aug 21 2011, 11:38 AM) Dude, it doesnt say anything about losing Sense 3.0, if you are referring to S-Off that means Security Off, not Sense off. Oh! Ok i get it my bad. Wats the security thing?

QUOTE(AzeL @ Aug 21 2011, 11:52 AM) uhhh...im bad at summarising, try googling for it. Ok i will google it later. If i want to just root and install clockwoRk mod i just need to do step 1 to 3 right? I assume that it wont restore the sensation n sdcard right? Flashing roms will restore the sensation n sdcard?

QUOTE(AzeL @ Aug 21 2011, 12:13 PM) umm i don't understand, but if you do step 1-3 there will be basically no changes to your phone visually. Unless you format your sdcard, flashing ROMS, wiping, factory reset etc will not erase any data on our sd card, only internal phone memory. Oh! Ok thx for explaination! Is the virtuous sensation rom good? Any improvements in battery lfe over stock rom? Im just curious
