Well, if it's a dust trail like what lcs87 mentioned, do bring it in and ask them to do something about it. As far as I know if the glass was sealed properly this would not happen in the first place. But heck, just go and ask, no harm what, and if you know there's no solution you'll give up on it hence better peace of mind in the long run =D

For my case I found one tiny scratch near the power button, thought it was a white large speck of dust, turned out it wasn't, went OCD for an hour trying to "rub" the scratch off, in the end used some black permanent marker, gently touched with tip a few times and problem solved =D

Hey teh, i dunno whether its just me, but i cant seem to go into recovery by volume down+power anymore.

it is bro...weird >_<, gonna try reinserting battery see if it works.

you're good to go.

EDIT: Untick all except English and "拼音“ for fast switching when you press the button in the keyboard.

EDIT 2: Anyway, no probs so far with leedroid 2.1, but my sense keeps restarting, after exiting "heavy applications" like games etc.

Anyone on insertcoin ROM?, whats the feedback on that?, the unique CPU governor thinghy they have is kinda interesting.

I'm using Case Mate Tough & Barely There, good quality case, the material nice to touch too.

Downloading leedroid 2.2 now.

Glass skin doesn't seem to work for me, on 1st boot after flashing ROM, didn't wipe.

Backing up apps with Titanium now, going to wipe and see if there's any difference.


EDIT: Did wipe, still not working, what gives?, who's on 2.2.0 Leedroid can try out the glass skin and see whether it works for you?

Glass skin is included in Leedroid's ROM, and OP didnt mention anything about the Glass Skin (which is included in latest 2.2.0 ROM) not working...only one other user in the XDA thread reporting the same problem as me.

FYI, Thyrus's Thyparancy theme and skin works for 2.3.4, and a few others but I forgot their names since they're not as well known as Thyparancy.

if not sure just get the skin, looks pretty nice anyway.

i only see it in the lock screen, after that its the usual stuff. I did a full wipe and flashed, 1st reboot and everything, I'm stumped.

Yes, you can remove the zip files after flashing it to phone, for radio zip file (if on leedroid instructions) better to remove after flash otherwise everytime you go into hboot it'll try to update again. However, for the Custom ROM, you can just leave it in the SD card, I do this just in case i F**k up on something I can always flash the ROM again on the spot.

for back up, if your phone is not currently rooted, you may have to copy the data files but its not recommended anyway. Besides, your important stuff in your SD card such as music, pictures etc will not be affected as the wipe script only wipes INTERNAL memory. For your apps, if you sync with google, it will redownload again in your first boot after flashing ROM, contacts etc should not be a problem too.

So really, nothing much lost anyway. =D

once rooted and you have Titanium Backup, you won't have to worry anymore haha.

Downloading now...but based on the changelog its very very similar to Leedroid, with the exception of the unity V7 kernel and some other carrier specific changes.

How's the battery life on it?
