Hi.. need you guys' advice about something.

My DHD (SIS Set) front speaker confirmed dead a few hour ago. I've already rooted
my DHD together with ENG HBOOT and flashed ARHD.

My questions are...

Will SIS service center claim the warranty for me since it's hardware faulty?
(I know about warranty void if you root your phone.)

How to unroot? Flash official RUU?

Will the ENG HBOOT go back to the factory default?

Where is the SIS service center that open on Sunday in KL? Time Square?

guys, this might be an odd question or request to ask, but does anyone know how to like block a certain number from messaging you? if call i know how, but to block a sms, got ka such thing?

download blacklist or similar app from market. u can chose to either block call only, calls and sms.

so, if block the sms'es, will it not be in my inbox or it will just be automatically marked as read?

it will not go into your inbox but instead goes to the blacklist log(basically it keeps a copy in that blacklist app). u can either check that log (if u still wanna read your stalker's sms ) or u can delete all

Hi, i'm newbie here, used dhd for 6 months.
Now wish to try to flash into Android Revolution HD 5.2.3
My dhd is latest OTA, if i wish to flash mean i need to downgrade 1st.

So here few question that i doubting,
after i temproot, and downgrade by using PD98IMG.zip,
can i OTA it to latest official version?

How i backup my original stock so that i can flash it back after i flash my dhd into any custom rom.

u can use nandroid back up, after u downgrade and install clockwork mod recvery..
use clockworkmod recovery to backup the whole ROM..

Yeah.. tried hydrogenMod and it works flawlessly. Highly recommended. There is miui zip too but currently still cant get around APN prob. Its a bit hard with bootmanager but worth a try.

so mean that , after i downgrade, until i install CWM that part, i backup all the rom, mean that that 1 is the original stock rom?
i jz scare i cant get back my stock rom only xD

i have downgraded my dhd.. now i try to check update online..
it cannot online update to 2.3.3

y do u stil bother to update OTA??u can get much more with custom roms....there are bunch out there arebattery savvy to high performance rom that are MUCH better than the OTA

I don't know how to use daemon. lolx. I got root explorer though. so how do I modify those values?

btw, can I just delete everything in my sd card? some files I don't even knw what are those and it looks very untidy.

i did that last time, phone is still ok, but do make sure u know which ones are for which, cause last time i deleted folders for apps i don't have anymore~

anyway, can anyone tell me why my GPS is not, well, working. Cause when i wanted to use foursquare, it keeps on saying my GPS needs to be turn on, but it already is..frankly, i never used my GPS but only now, can anyone help?

You can delete files in SD but be careful, some apps got saved data in SD. Which is if you delete, your app might not work or you need to download the data file again.
