A8181 is Desire, not Desire HD.

i had tried Mr.Garak 1.7.29 v.3,so far so good,they said the lordmod kernel v6.3 got bug,which is brazilianwax fail to update,means tat using brazilianwax as ur governor will slow ur phone down,and tis version remove OC daemon,using bec setcpu,coz the governor adi included aggressive wake/sleep profile.worth a try to update to 1.7.29 though.

bootloader corrupt? 
u mention tat 2nd attempt to downgrade bring u "update fail" oso,then suddenly can be downgraded to 1.32,izzit anything happen between tis fail and success process?

got ppl complaint tat they gt many apps force close after flash to 1.7.29,but it din happen on me,everything juz fine,and when i using lordmod v6.3 brazilianwax,it really slow my phone once i unlock my phone,like gt freeze a bit,but juz now flash to lordmod v6.5,everything smooth now.

newbie here too,MIUI users can take a look here.
i had tried many times, each time bring me a disappeared notification bar,can need to restore back using nandroid.so if any sifu can make it,pls upload the SystemUI.apk (1.7.29 Garak version) then i will appreciate a lot!! 

i am currently using the MIUI you recommend with lordmod kernal , it nice , but it's anyway to fix the slide home page ? i feel some time lagging ~

give me the details of the profile u used in setcpu,the max and min frequency of the cpu set,which governors u use?for me,i use LordMod Kernel CFS v6.6,brazilianwax, 1228000Mhz max and 122000Mhz min.no lag at all.
