or others? idk mannn so many to choose from. I'm a technical guy as in i assemble my own pc, configure everything myself and I want the phone to have cool features and look cool while not being troublesome. which I should choose?

I see there are some patches to like change battery icon and etc. there are even skins and etc. how do I apply them?

You can use that method, but a bit troublesome. Many steps to follow. Use AAHK, easier one.

And about the rom, I suggest you RCMix3D v4.0, lot of tweaks and mod support. If you like iPhone style, you can flash MIUI rom, iPhone lookalike.

rcmix3d has a lot of tweaks. examples?

How to apply theme ..? Most themes need to apply by using Clockworkmod Recovery. What is CWM ..?

- Downgrade your phone first. (To allow your phone to get root access)
- Root it. (You'll gain SuperUser access, something like administration access)
- S-Off it. (Remove HTC security)
- ENG S-Off it. (Gaining full access to edit system files in root bla bla bla)
- Flash clockworkmod recovery. (Something like, a platform for you to install themes, mods, wipe bla bla bla)
- Flash ROM. (Kernel included)
- Flash radio. (Not necessary, depends on you network coverage at your area)

^all that is after I flash with rcmix3d thing?

Radio ..?

Radio will affected your network signal, wifi signal, bluetooth, voice (communication), mostly. Try one by one to see the result. If good result, signal would be better and vice versa.

Just pick 3 favorite radio in the radio thread and try. But I suggest you don't bother with radio first. Leave it just like that first.

About GPS, no need to flash any GPS tweaks first. Test the default one (that came with the phone). If GPS signal worst, go to that like you attached and download "old version v1.3 worldwide".

rcmix3d battery life good or not?

I think RCMix Runny v3.3 have a good battery life. For my usage, can last around 1 day 4 hour something.
Since yesterday morning, I'm using RCMix v4 I felt that battery life not as good as v3.3.

On the other side, ARHD is a Sense rom, same as RCMix. But ARHD is just a stock, clean rom. Not many tweaks included with that rom. But got many support in term of themes, mod from other XDA member / user, etc etc..
Donno about battery life on the newer version of ARHD. I'm sticking with MIUI at the moment.

actually da battery life of runny v4.0 is better (or same par) than v3.3...if those that experience any battery drain definitely there is something that draining ur battery..

How to install the %battery mod?

Is it normal the bottom buttons don't light up? How to get it lighted?

download the battery mod that you want and put it into ur sd card --> boot your phone into recovery --> mount data and system --> flash da battery mod zip as how u flash ur rom

as for da backlighting, it is controlled by the light sensor..it wont light up if the environment is bright enough

ive dloaded the file n manage to lock 7-9 sat using gps status,but when i used papago it still like take forever to lock..is it normal or my papago is outdated?

where do u guys download the papago app? is it free from market or can someone *ahem* pm me. haha


btw, after flashing with arhd last nite, i realize the car panel gps thing is gone? does rcmix have that? if not, how do i get it back?

guys, why when I plugged in the usb cable,my pc can't detect my phone.Nothing pops up on my phone either...It's still working ytd but when I try again just now,it just went into charging mode.No pop up...

It has nothing to do with my sdcard.It works fine.I've tried it with adaptor.It's fine. Just that my pc can't detect my phone and my phone doesn't pop up those choices that it usually does like charging,etc...

Hi guys, I saw through the currentwidget log and realize that my battery charge until 92% and suddenly in the next minute jump to 100%.
another time is 86% jump until 100%.. whats the problem? I tried calibrating battery also the same..

Not to worry abt this..is not a big issue. most importantly you monitor from ur current widget c if da battery fully charge onot. if fully charge it will show )mAH...sometimes even thou ur batt show 100, it still hvn't fully charge yet..i always leave it charging even thou it shows 100% n da led light turns green until my current widget shows 0...

btw, this is a screenshot for those who worry that runny v4.0 rom hving bad battery usage
