Like I said, early S fans went for original SGS, early adopters now go for SGS2. SPlus stuck in the middle like SGSL, too many competition now in the 1.2k price range. Limited dev support, rooting also unsure.

hey guy before flashing do we need to open kies application on PC? wht should be default?
Also do I9001DXKG1 can be use with I9001DXXKP4 rom???

Hey guys, my friend bought a S plus and he facing a battery life problem now. He said that sometimes when he turned off the phone, it still drains the battery. His S plus couldn't last for a day long. I've checked out XDA forum, and flashed 2.3.4 for him, the problem still existing. I put the phone idle for 2 hours after fully charged, the battery left 77% only with usage of 50% cell standy and 50% phone idle. Anyone encounters the same problem here?

wanna ask before i buy...can this phone be root and flash~?
isit a great phone~? play hd game got lag~? sry never use android before...

samsung only advertise sgs2.. can see why this phone not much exposure..
maybe someone should pm ts to change to thread title and some info?
seems like battery failure to me, bring it back and exchange it.

root yes. but there's no custom rom as far as i know.. hd games no lag, do note some games such as hd gameloft games not compatible with this phone

Take a look at this S Plus someone is selling. He bought to test HD game then want to sell it off straight. Maybe you can PM him and find out his results...

gameloft game not supported~? how bout the old galaxy s~?

supported, just not all. so far i know fast 5 and nova 2 cant be play on S+, others like modern combat 2, spiderman, splinter cell, even the lastest blockbreaker 3 are all playble on S+.
oh and also most of xperia play games also can be play on S+ as we have the same chipset with them. I have bruce lee and star battalion which are xperia game

This phone is still new. Not much to check but please confirm AP or local warranty.

s+ is quit nice in spec but lag in custom build rom n rfs files system

new user here, just flashed to 2.3.4.

The phone is really fast and smooth even by original firmware,however less dev support for this phone is the disavantage.

I checked the application condition. Why is it certain application capable to move into internal USB storage area while some cannot?
I downloaded some application which enable to move to SD or internal storage, but still same (fail to move).
If we root the phone, can this be done easily so we can justify where to put our application installed to either internal USB storage/ SD card?

actually some apps are made that way if im not mistaken. try apps2sd and see if it helps

hey. i just bought my galaxy s plus.

i got a problem.

i tried with other wifi, works fine. only my wifi is full of problems.

btw im using unifi.

i think i read ur problem somewhere b4.. it seems like its more on unifi problem. maybe u can try to ask ask braodband user 2 user section?

my problem with the phone is the 3G connection. everytime when it lost its connection, it will NEVER reconnect to 3G on it's own, it just stay in 2G forever

i tried to 'deactivate/activate' the data connection, not work; enable/disable 'Flight' mode, not work also

the only solution is off/on the phone, then only can get back the 3G connection.

but this thing happen a few times in a day, and i'm very tired of on/off the phone dy...

so is this a common problem of the phone or just the defect of my phone?

anyone here experienced this problem b4?

Change the signal to use wcdma mode only.
