Hi guys...i came across that new version google maps actually allow maps download so that v can navigate without spending data charges...but somehow i got this message "This app is incompatible with your Maxis Samsung GT-I9001." when i try to download the updated google map. Anyone know how to solve this???

its for US n europe market for the moment...not yet available for region splus here.unless u root ur hp n custom rom europe or us firmware.

i can update n use it
mybe becuz im using ap set with europe firmware. hahah

Sorry guys, newbie here and I do some home work searching the net. Actually this function only enable when there's internet connection (including Wifi or data transfer). In normal mode, it will not be working.
I wonder why they did this, but at lease finally, I know.

Ha Ha... yes,if ur firmware is europe or US,ur market get more apps than others,more choices.ap set good is get most fast update.
for most ppl think ap set maybe is cheaper,but it have their goods,especially on update if u get europe set.ap set got prob oso can fix at sme,just pay $$..

haha yea i have to agree tat ap gets faster updates than those in asia. plus rarely phone spoil, if we take good care of it the chances of failure is very low.

since my 1st fon until the latest one all i buy ap set hahah mybe becuz no extra money to buy ori....so far so good...no problems...

Hi.was using HTC before, each time I got a missed call or SMS the phone will indicate and blink .
Question is there any way I will know I had a miss or SMS on my splus? And apps ir something like that..thanks

SGSP dont have LED notification, only on screen notification and its base on the launcher u use

anyone try this launcher yet? its called SPB Shell 3D.. its kinda cool with those 3D effect..

but when do english typing the diopen chinese is not so friendly compare with samsung keypad.

u can OC. but sg+ cannot OC bcuz kernel doesnt allow. idk something like that. need custom rom then can OC
and u can set ur cpu into deep sleep when screen off. can save ur battery

Just got s+ a few days ago.I think the price is quite ok for this type of phone.I bought an ori set at RM1350 at Prangin Mal,Penangl.The guy gave me 8G memory card and install papago X5 for me + other software.For first timer user like me,the battery seems not enough but after awhile of getting use to it..no problem(cant compare with the old nokia phone..hahahha)
Eventhough I can get it cheaper(around RM1240)...but the most important thing is the shop after sales service and how the dealer take care of you after you bought the phone.I chose the shop because I can trust him.
Havent tried the papago yet.Have afew Q here..

2-I saw 2 angry bird game on the menu screen..can I delete 1 of it?

Yup, I can see some sellers are selling the ori at RM12++ online. May I know the name of the shop? I am very interested in S+ too, now considering between this model or HTC desire s.
