cleo, sorry to hear yr accident. just unscrew 2 plastic screw in front of the snorkel. after that got like 5 clips (black round thing). u need to pull the middle round thing 1st then remove the whole clip. careful not to loss it.

Went to the SC and installed my damper this morning abt 7.30am!

Got bad news today...the SC finished their stock of s3k, and not going to stock up on s3k anytime soon as they got a lot of s800 oil remaining...the boss there pointed to me there's like more than 10 big boxes of it in the store....he told if I insist on using s3k then I have to buy outside and bring back the s800....Can the s800 be used on my 17 year old wira?

Take a test pen, pry up the centre part of that clip (the round screw part)abt 2-3mm, then pull out the whole clip.

Should be ok gua...but what is your Wira using all the while? I heard old cars not suppose to change the oil type from full-synth->semi synth etc or maybe vice-versa?? Anyone has any thoughts on this?

I changed my wira to use 15w-50 mineral oil a few years back. Its a 1.6 XLI 4g92 EFI engine.

I see that the SC do have s1k around, how is s1k for our car?

Actually i don't know about oil. So what is the most suitable oil for inspira?
what is the different between s800 , s1k, s3k? And how to know after change how long can go for?

Its quieter now with new bushes...

Today i heard loud nyek nyek when going fast over bump. Called for appointment this Friday.

But still got occasional thumping of the rubber dampers if I bump too fast over the humps... but at least other funny sounds gone.

Anyway, i think xW40 should be ok...anything more than 40 is a bit too thick and sucks even more fuel. Unless you rev kaw-kaw everyday and redline, i don't think you'll need xw/50.

Say, is it ok if we use xw30 for our engines? Would it be too thin for 2.0cc engine? (But maybe saves more fuel?).

at the snorkel~ use phillips screw 1... i keep turn its not coming up! 1 can 1 cant. lol

Use ur finger to reach to the back of the screw then push it, no need any screwdriver.
