Oh ya...a photo from the previous TT i attended...shows some of the white and red Inspira side by side in Parking...hp camera sucks though...haha..

Dear Inspira bros...I had been a silent reader all this while till now. I really need to know more about our HU..does it comes with pre-out for external amplifier?
Yeah, in case you wonder, I am also an owner of 1.8MT Black for the past 3 weeks and am loving it every moment. Already clocked 3k+ km and also touched 188 km/h which was easily achievable. My only dislike is the soft setting of the suspension...Car looks garang but handles like "siew chey"  Already done spring damper (thank you for the solution in earlier post or should I call it poison?) and now handles superbly. Next in line is the strut bar. |

just back from the sc few days back to replace something in my car.... n i complain to them that morning time i gt that nyek nyek sound when over bumper n also when i turn my steering wheel to the left, sometimes theres a bit of sound..... so ask them check as well.......
the result is, poor.... =.= The SC like nvr know theres the nyek nyek isssue.. they say after checking my car, they cant hear the nyek nyek sound...so didnt do anything on it..... For the steering wheel, they say test many times only can hear a bit of sound.. so they blame it on the bushing... so nd to order the bushing(means i hv to go to the sc another time... =.=).... bt after driving for 1 day, every time i turn left, i'll get the "krok" sound n even louder nw....n morning time when go over bump still have that annoying sound.... WTF they done to my car!!! damn!!! btw, i'm from butterworth n i send my car to the inderawasih EON SC...... |

just had my inspira 1.8manual 1st service earlier today at puchong proton sc, did 1,200km, told them that there's some abnormal sound when car go over bump & uneven roads, waited for 2hrs while watching wipeout & csi at the waiting area to kill time,
was advised that there's a bushing problem (like i dont know but i didnt tell them that i knew ) but no stk now have to wait after the holidays...just opt for semi-syn oil & total comes to rm170+ with free labour for 1st three service ( no service voucher for aug purchase )will get an k&n drop in after the resolving the bushing problem  |

Inspira is using thinner ones to give it more flex that will give "better" road holding characteristics vs lancer harder version that gives you less roll but tendency to under/oversteer or "loose tail" aka drift. In the end of the day it depends on your driving style. There is no right or wrong setting. 6. This would have been solved by now and installed in new batches of Inspira. 7. For the cvt oil, you can follow the service manual to change at 80K or follow lancer's interval to change at 40K. I think most of us will follow the 40K interval to change. There is no need to change at 1K, a little paranoid. Just remember to use the correct oil type, CVT, not ATF.. It will be stated in the manual. Hope above explanation helps clear your doubts. XCInspire, do you use the aftermarket air filter? I saw from some pictures that member cut and add grill, with snorkel to their air way...kinda heartache when i see that since my DIY skill is almost nonexistent, but their is nicely done. Plus, someone said that adding in the snorkel have some effect of engine not getting enough air due to vacuum in some places inside the engine...so anyone who did it, did you guys feel any thing wrong? |
