haiya...if u wanna do 5k service, just go outside. another better way, when u go for your 1k/10k service, buy ur own fully syn oil, take back the semi syn for other car to use.

then service every 10k lo

the reason im asking because duirng my 1k service,i already used fully syn oil,but they still 'advice' me to come for 5k service ,thats why i want to know what they did? they going to change my oil again? or is there any other service that they will do?

not neccessary..the lancers uses syntium 1000 with the service interval of 10k km.

they'll change the engine oil and oil filter only.

major service is at every 40k km

but if u have extra money, it is up to u.

if fully syn, can last 10k. if you wanna really take care your car, you can opt to change the oil filter at 5k.....thats what i am doing...but i do it outside, cause i buy the oil filter from bro suntoc....
