Hey guys,

Prolly quite slow at this, just got my car on the 31st of July.

Black colour. 2.0P

Heading down to COE for my 1st 1000KM service this Saturday.

Loved the paddle shift, did played with it for awhile when i was abit tipsy the other day, could feel the force.

Setting up a few meet up with friends Accord and the infamous Lancer for a trial run up Genting.
Which btw, anybody from Klang with good recommendation on accessories? Would love to dwell in this more.

PEACE!

bro xcinspire, stop argue ba, it just personal prefer, in real world, some paddle shift manual gear box like dsg already proof faster then manual gear box, new gtr also dont have traditional gearbox, new ferari also no more manual gear box while only available in paddle shift dual clutch gearbox, we all know ferrari faster right? but still some people going for lotus with proper manual gearbox intead of ferrari with dual clutch gearbox which faster, why? because its other way of enjoy driving, different gear change mechanism also got its fun way also, i also like paddle shift, but more like shift with gear stick now, may b in future 30 years old change to paddle shift when i tired? hahaha

People like you who have the insider juices have more reliable info to share with us than those news reporters or those people who reports news on the forum as how they deem fit to them...thanks for the clarification and insight..we need you to sometimes clean up the rumors or clear up misconceptions notworthy.gif

on paper spec, 0-100 putra faster by almost 2 secs as its lighter than inspira. bhp/torque very similar.
i almost forget but pulling power seems to be putra but handling inspira better (on stock to stock comparison)
but then last touch putra was almost 7yrs+ ago

Added on August 11, 2011, 5:51 pmsothy,
would love to share real info when ever possible but at times i do have to be sure im allowed to by proton.
had alot of sharing with those lancers forum last 1.5 yrs ago on inspira's developement but they didnt take it too well (as we all knw why tongue.gif)

my last touch on my putra was like a month ago ..

pickup .. pulling on the seats .. inspira is way behind putra .. putra only around 1050kg .. inspira is about 1300 ++
comfort ... putra is way behind inspira .
NVH .. putra a bit stiff compare to inspira .. sound proof was okay (i enhanced it before tongue.gif)
going higher speed .. for sure inspira ... more stable due to weight

Just got done with the nyek nyek fix. Will need to wait till tomorrow morning to see if ok.

My manual also the same, some times when moving from 1 to 2, there's resistance for the gear to go in and some times theres a light sound. I realize if i hold the clutch longer there's less issue with it.

I might want to flush the gear box oil the next time i service.

Maybe I should do that too. I once read that new cars need to get their clutch pedal adjusted after 1k km, but.... CoSE didn't want to try and adjust for me LOL. Their foreman say already smooth compared to other cars, and since I cannot do a baseline comparison, I've got nothing much to say. Oh well, it's not that bad, just annoying sometimes.

XCinspire, When you say snorkel, do you mean the one from robert or another one? BTW, my wire mesh drop off dunno where already >.< double sided tape = sucks. You guys got check yours?
