hi guys, i just bought galaxy s 2 from maxis. the thing is, there is no mobile ap. unilke galasy s and tab. they both have those. does s 2 doesnt have it at all? and what is wifi direct setting? it seems like mobile ap. but it cannot be scanned..

huh? got wert, you mean the AP Mobile app? i remember freezing it tons of times

edit: ok i think i'm wrong, mobile ap and ap mobile got difference lol. ap mobile is a news reader while mobile ap is access point

i think ur answer is the wireless hotspot, under settings>wireless&networks> tethering and portable hotspot, then u enable portable wifi hotspot

wifi direct is a very kewl feature, go youtube it

Yeah, I even argued with some guy before about 2g/3g switch in Widgetzoid not working (properly, they got some apndroid thing going in the meantime).

If it happens, I'll be a happy man too. Couple this with tasker woah gila.

Echoes my findings: KF2 works best for a stable connection, though KE4 is (arguably) better in terms of battery life (it's got a slightly worse WIFI connection quality though).

KG2-6 for me has a weird "service goes missing (no service) while on external power/connected to USB", plus service is actually worse compared to the KF2/KE4 combo. No idea why.

BTW, I just ditched my JuiceDefender setup for an even more comprehensive (and less battery consuming) Tasker setup. However, tasker is really a PITA to set up, but immensely flexible when you finally figure it out.

Still on VR2.0 + Nin2.0.5 too lol. Gila Frankenbuild.

damn got update? time to reinstall! woohoo i missed all toggles on the status bar like cm7!

EDIT : anyone got to change the any toggles without having it popping out? i need to set the pop out option to be able to toggle it.


i think only a matter of time before i'm back with stock browser. pulser come out with the fix last night for no lag. but seems to have minor problem at the moment.
