no doubt, X800GTO will perform better due to 12 pixel pipelines eventhough the clock is lower

QUOTE(ben3003 @ Sep 8 2005, 08:14 PM) hi there.. i search so many threads but i still dunno which should i take. I need lower price and better performance. I was awe of that x800gt becos it is so cheap and compare with x800xl the gap only 3-4% only. So anyone plz recommend me which to get. Thanks. hurmm..performance great...overclock stable.. temp= 46-50(overclock).....so overall since i use it...no problem at all.. |

take the frequency times the number of pipes, which has higher number performs better
although these days its no longer necessary that a single pixel engine renders a pixel per clock cycle, but since all x800 base card are the same architecture, such calculation can be a basic comparison to see which performs better same goes for memory bandwidt...take the bus width (128bit or 256bit) and times the frequency |

QUOTE(evilhomura89 @ Sep 24 2005, 12:21 PM) Can we compare price converted directly from US$?? You have to remember to factor in various things too like shipping, customs, and the local resellers profit margins at the same time. My safest bet would be in the RM800-RM850 range pricing. When x800GTO is converted from US$209, it is only RM700++ Does it mean that x800gt is less than RM700++?? |

Result overclock
![]() ![]() QUOTE We are talking price to power ratio here, The X800GT IceQ Turbo stands in line to show excellent performance for the cost. Game play for the X800GT was astral, for a graphics card costing almost as much as a full tank of gas at a local gas station, it has all the options and more expected for this price range. In addition the included Artic Cooling was at best silent, this system is water cooled and any added noise would be noticed instantly. With the fan set at default you have to look to make sure it is even running and when at full tilt the noise level is still near silent. I received an average core temperature of 30C and 33C. Game play was excellent as you see from the benchmarks below this card has power and shows within any given game that you could through at it.
