So we have Aqua leaving, Cole potentially leaving with Coates and Bellamy coming in?
How about Ngog, Poulsen and Degen? Any news on them? |

QUOTE(Muhammad Syukri @ Aug 26 2011, 11:56 AM) Actually, its 6m Still Milan got the better bargain, as always, just like the Ibra deal.but the Reds got good signing,Coates was once linked with Milan last season but ended up to liverpool. Wonder who nego all those deals, maybe we should poach him instead |

It's surprising to see that we actually going to resign bellamy. Not too sure if it's good especially when Bellamy is quite injury prone as well, no? His constant knee problem that he once said might end his career earlier than any footballer.

QUOTE(Rotuham @ Aug 26 2011, 01:39 PM) Don't quite agree with that mate. I know we've heard it over and over again but I truly believe that no player is bigger than the club. I mean I've seen careers begin and end e.g. Fowler, McManaman and Redknapp but my support for Liverpool has never wavered. This doesn't mean I'm not a fan of Gerrard. As far as I'm concerned he cemented his place as a leader in Istanbul. His half-time talk urging the players to respond to the fans, the sight of him scoring our first goal against AC Milan and then waving his hands up, urging the players to pick it up and the fans to up the noise are still vivid in my mind. He has always led by example and Martin Tyler's description of him will always stick in my mind i.e. "Steven Gerrard, one man task force". Still, the club is bigger than any player, dare I say even King Kenny. Everything that the club stands for today is built on foundations laid by Shankly with Paisley by his side and perhaps they, are bigger than the club but no one else. My 2 cents. |

His constant knee problem that he once said might end his career earlier than any footballer. My view, it may just a backup striker only. If Ngog left, Liv has only 3 recognised striker/CF only, aka Suarez, Carroll and Kuyt. Either one injured or suspended, no striker for backup. While Kuyt a lot of time is being employed at right. |
