not very happy with charlie , I think he is too slow, resulted vermalean got 2 shot on target just doing agger-style and blast the ball.

I think he should stay discipline on the box just like xabi last time , slow but most of the times keep things under control

IMO , our first plan is to counter arsenal from set pieces , although Wenger field mostly 2nd teams but still is Arsenal and playing in Emirates where our away record so far was awful.(we never won thr b4 until today)

Just want to say Kenny tactic was spot on tonite.
During 1st half I admit I was thinking that we should have started with Suarez and try to get early goal and then hold on to it.

People were saying that we were playing a depleted Arsenal team. But the fact is their starting eleven cosnsisted of all the regular players with exception of two; Frimpong and Jenkinson. But still we could have advantage of that. I'm dissapointed with our first half performance cause we did not play as a team. Not enough understanding between players, we hesitated on making forward passes, not enough off the ball movement.

But in term of KD plan I think it worked out well. Carroll made their defense worked hard to contain him and as a result Koscielny limped out of the game. That sets the stage nicely for Suarez to enter and terrorize their inexpereince defend. And when Frimpong sent off it was just the perfect time to unleash the no. 7 and for the plan to come together.

And we sure love it when a plan comes together!

But despite the win there's still a lot to be improved on especially on how the players to play as a team and work as a unit.

I think every player should cover each other , we have so many players that can carry the ball forward , (kuyt,downing,henderson,enrique,kelly,charlie adam)

watching lucas is the only player who cover for all of them , even I think charlie should be more discipline in tracking ball player ahnd helping lucas.I am very angry when I saw Vermalean carry the ball forward and blast it without any penetration from our midfield.

Last time we only have players like johnson and arbeloa who do all the attacking both side while the player like Alonso,Lucas,Mascherano cover the full back and take control in midfield.I am not worry because player like mascherano will chase the hell player that try to counter attack us.

We will see what happen when Gerrard is back.

Great to get a win over Arsenal at the Emirates and great to collect our first 3 points of the season.

For me that's where the "great" stops. By the look on his face, I don't think KD is satisfied either. Put it simply, I think we didn't play well.

The Positives :
- Lucas getting back into groove
- Downing's consistent skills
- Martin Kelly's back and solid

The Negatives :
- Henderson : what?!
- Adam : agree with most people that he's slow
- team-work is still not good enough
- defence is not that steady despite the clean sheet
- Downing's skillful runs and crosses often wasted

Well..we won! Great!

I only see a flow of passing once Suarez and Meireles comes in..
Meireles did pass and run, pass and run, pass and runn!!
Suarez was instinctively know Meireles will just run to the space... And to our luck, that ball bounces off Aaron Ramsey and goal !

I actually think spearing is a better dm than lucas.Spearing is a high energy player and not afraid to slide in.

So far our defence is really good and i'll go as far as to say that this back 4 is of epl champions material.

I am sad that aquilani is leaving.I rate him higher than adam or lucas.

we have no place for aquilani perhaps, dont forget gerrard is coming back from injury... a definite starting player under kenny? by then either adam or henderson gotta sit on the bench... even quality player like meireles need to fight for his place...

LIV plays way way better AFTER carroll off.fluid passing and stuff. FACT.
with carroll LIV always use long ball.
