yes they have winners mentality, but I don't see it in today's game. They didn't do much in 2nd half and WBA was having some good build up play. Suddenly Ashley Young cross hit two defenders and the ball went in.

Chelsea drew and Torres failed to score again. Kinda pity looking at his current situation.

sometimes i hate him but when i watch stoke vs chelsea last night and i thinking, where's the old Torres?

maybe because of different gameplay with liverpool, i think.

anyway, any chances for us to get another CB? when the deadline of transfer?

if we can snap Arsenal away from Gary Cahill, then hell yeah we'll be in top 4 for sure!

well lady luck is always part of football.. luck is part of life ;p manu's goal might took a wicked double deflection but young made the chance himself and deserve it. not too concern about how our rivals are doing although yes of cuz i was wishing for west brom to nick a late winner there. shane long looked lively. for a men not too big of a physique, he played well imo. there were talks we were in for him but guess other position was prioritised.

Lose to Arsenal? No way. Liverpool have a superior midfield compared to any team in the league. Games are won in midfield rite? Gervinho's out, so that's a plus. If Wilshere's still not fit, then you guys have a massive chance of winning. Just don't let RVP gets the ball on his left foot. His right is harmless though tongue.gif

Seriously guys or fellow "Reds", to be honest I see a lot of blah blah blah, negative vibes coming from 1 game in the start of the season.

Bolton is number 1 with a +4 goal difference, Friggin hell they will win the league yay!! /sarcasm

I see people complain Kenny starting 4-5 new signings during the Sunderland match. Was he experimenting? Was he trying to give the new boys the Anfield feel? Was he daft and out of his frigging mind?!? I think unless you guys have managed a successful football team, wait and see what KD does.. he is definitely no Woy.

Was it a good start? A draw with Sunderland was very much an unlucky turn of events than anything. Red card was for sure, but knowing Phil Dowd (sigh) he again made a booboo. So frig it, football is that way and like KD said, a wee bit of luck eluded us then.

First half of the game was great, awesome even becos it suddenly shows we have potential from all sides in a very long time. Adam, Downing, Henderson and yes.. Suarez were a threat and Andy was doing what he was doing best -> winning headers.

Second half was that little desperation we see last season as well. When we were trying "too hard" to grab a winning goal. We look to force issues and when Suarez was subbed, we looked like we retreated to lobbing long balls at our only strike option.

And please stop blaming Flanagan for the draw. It wasn't his fault. How can it be... he is young, he still needs the experience and definitely he was doing better than most other fails that were supposedly godlike compared to him. If 3 on the left could not stop the cross which they were suppose to (letting the crosser pick out his target = fail on the left side, not the right) how do you expect Flanagan to predict that sensational scissor kick. So I pity the lad for getting the flak. He deserves more than anything a pat on the back despite the draw.

So in summary, we are just 1 game and 1 point. It's not worrying for me yet. Unless LFC decides to take 9 points out of a possible 27, then i will start to worry.

Onwards to Arsenal then. YNWA smile.gif

stop giving flanno stick la. he was a pretty decent fullback for us last season ok. just because of one bad game, it does not mean he's rubbish.
