you can just call them and clarify. IELTS can be done at this one place near Taylors College SJ. i did mine there years ago.

I recently applied for the M'sian campus Feb 2014 intake but mistakenly paid the RM 100 application fee by credit card, which isn't accepted by the M'sian campus. What should I do? Do I have to re-submit the payment?

for buss if u wanna transfer u need to spend at least 2 out of 3 years in aus, or for eng 2 out of 4.. or not they would take it as an exchange... no exchange allowed for final year

P/S: I graduated with BsC from Monash in 2007 so the books are of the older editions

Hey guys, I notice that Monash School of business only offers Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting), Bachelor of Business and Commerce, and Bachelor of Business and Commerce and Bachelor of Communication.


Well, I'm going for courses like Finance and Econs/Banking.. however, I've heard that Monash school of business is one of their strongest faculty. I was previously quite convinced to take the "Business Economics and Finance BA (Hons)" at Nottingham, as I've seen most jobs require graduates to hold a degree of accountant, finance, banking and etc.

So here's the question.. Does the name of a degree matter? If I've taken Bachelor of Business and Commerce at
monash, will that be an disadvantage for me to look for jobs that require a degree in finance?

Accounting is just not my thing though

you can actually major in Finance& economics for bachelor of business and commerce

should be sometime in may,since application would usually open in april

Oh.. is it like, I choose more of those finance and econs related electives? Would the certificate show any changes?

if you want to major in finance,then you choose all the units that are related to finance like Commercial Banking,Investment portfolio,etc

your cert will show Bachelor of Business & commerce only but in your transcript it would say specialising in Finance & Economics,depending on what major you choose

Oh yes, are the lecturers at school of business good? I noticed that monash is still hiring some lecturers for business subjects on their job vacancy page
