do a factory reset don't install anything n test use, i have auto restart twice on first day and factory reset solve the problem,
if that cant help go exchange a new unit, we paid them big money to enjoy their flagship product, not end up as technician to help samsung troubleshoot their phone.

currently on KG3, just wondering, since Kies haven't actually launch 2.3.4/ KG3 (i checked the thread someone saying KG3 is a leaked firmware or something?), how do I actually change back my firmware to it's original state so that I can launch Kies and check for the updates? I think in xda it was mentioned you need to revert back to original firmware so that Kies can detect for future updates? But I don't see the reverse steps neither do I know what's my original firmware d >.<

still a bit afraid to use Odin to flash firmware cuz i'm such a noob and I scared I will brick my phone >.<

just sharing some more observations...

* i can't seem to find Bookmarks. dun seem to be a way to sync with my Google bookmarks (from Chrome). this is on stock Sammy OS. recall seeing this bookmarks on TF101 tablet.

* almost halfway into my billing cycle... 3G watchdog is reporting my usage as only 45mb or (1% of my 3GB quota). wah... i'm severely under-utilising my 3G internet... now, makes me wonder those who said they average like 4-5GB per mth... what the heck do you guys do with the phone?!?

I just got my SGS2 from Sunway Pyramid, FINALLY!, apparently they have many stock. The lady told me, this will be the last push for stock, and there is no more stock in Samsung warehouse. No idea what she really meant.

For a not exactly SGS2 related question, I would like to ask, what would be the best way to totally reset an android phone (Galaxy Ace) to the factory setting like how we first buy the phone? I would like to pass my Galaxy Ace to my gf, and would like to reset it.

thats what you get when you have wifi access always. i'm at home and i can live with 500mb. but i had to take 3GB plan cuz at my uni, wifi sucks. block this and block that. and how i'm suppose to download roms if like that. so yeah 3GB plan. planning to downgrade to 1GB next month after my Desire contract ends.

does anyone know where I can get a MHL Adaptor which doesn't require it to be connected to an external charger? Meaning that the cable/adaptor itself provides charge from the TV

Does anyone know how to get back to the original firmware for my sgs2? I try on factory reset but it just wipe out the data only and not bring the sgs2 to the original firmware.

I am using the 2.3.4 KG3 now and i make my mistake forget to backup the original firmware that is 2.3.3.

Anyone can help?

ya, i guess so... most of the time, download the gameloft demo games using wifi.

but at home, sometimes i still prefer to use 3G data... faster than my streamyx (512k).

any news when ice cream coming?
