Dude., somebody told me there is no official release for 2.3.4 firmware. What we had KG1, KG2 and now KG3 are all leaked version of the incoming official firmware and it will come through official channel a.k.a our stupid Kies.

All these leaked version is used as a feedback to Samsung if it got any problems. Samsung will only release an official version after all this problems been iron out.

No wonder SME didn't release any firmware update.

just flashed to KG3
noticed there is BBC iPlayer and Suggests which will direct to samsung hubs.
there is no photo review on the camera too but can edit quick shortcuts for the effects

im not 100% sure, but usually before 24hours it would drop till around 10-14%
i don't use it much, only game on it 1-2hour, but thats all, not much

Hmn... GPS seems slow in the KG2 update. Anyone experiencing this? Any ideas to improve the locking time?

NO - it is not rooted; the word root on kernel doesn't mean it is so
If you see an app SUPERUSER in your apps menu - than it is rooted

that's just amazing ...

I didnt notice anything unusual in the locking time..did you set to local ntp server?

i notice my GPS locked faster with KG2...search in market apps call fasterfix to lock GPS faster..

Yeah..thats the app to change ntp server

if the hot spot(processor) doesn't locate at centre then it is not fair to test like this..
the thinness of SGS might contribute to this too, coz heat dissipate from it faster

what gps app u useing ?

Use iphone 3g, then blaxkberry, then now android samsung galaxy 2 s. what i cant tahan is the battery life of it. fully charged since today 12pm, until now 830pm, already drain more.than half of it. omg. My bb can last at least 2 days plus plus. but other than this, this phone is perfect.

Guys i want to update to 2.3.4, there 2 link XXKG2 download OXA poland or Stock Kernal. Which one to download?

To anyone looking for SGS2 maxis, just go to center, say u put name already but they didnt call.. i actually have placed my name 2 weeks ago, i go there today they 1st say no stock, i said to them i placed 2 weeks ago then they sorta "go check" and say actually got..

i tweeted to maxis_listens yesterday and she told me stocks are divided into half for walk in customers and waiting list.. so if u come to maxis center, try saying u already placed name..
