QUOTE(aeronic @ Jul 21 2011, 02:11 PM) sometimes it is funny one very lucky of u then i went to the TTDI store, the two girls said don't have and no stock and so many people on waiting list and then i asked if i should try KLCC, she said she don't know and then another guy who also wanted to be helpful or opposite, replied that based on his obeservation, KLCC has more people visiting as it is the main centre and it will have sold the units out faster. then he ended his speculation "but that is my personal opinion you can always check" i was shocked and asked him how stupid can that be, Maxis Centre in KLCC surely would have more allocations than smaller branches. he said they are all equal. since he did not look very smart, i just risked my petrol and expensive KLCC parking. when i went to KLCC they asked if I have a waiting/reservation list number and i need a waiting list number for SGS 2 to get it. I said nope but guess what I am here now all the way from TTDI and I want to buy it. Fortunately they checked my account and and they said based on case by case basis (since i am already using maxis for more than 10 years) if you are already there and there is stock sometimes they directly give you without reservation. So I took the queue number and went for lunch for 1 hour @ KFC KLCC (while my parking timer is still running) + 30 mins of additional waiting i got my unit. what a good experience...maxis! btw guys, what is your lowest Tegrak undervolted? i managed to go -125mV for all each.. all stable so far and no reboots.. anyone tried lower values? My best batterylife i ever experienced since using android.. constant abuse with cycle between data and wifi.. not so much texting but massive tweeting and whatsapp-ing. Quite good enough already since i now frequently forgot to charge my MiLi Power Miracle but managed to survived the day
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « to all future owner who is too concern about batterylife, i must say that SGS2 after tweaked its great indeed. im still sceptical bout the graph though This post has been edited by pluginbaby: Jul 24 2011, 11:47 AM |

QUOTE(soulquarianz @ Jul 24 2011, 12:15 PM) my underclock setting in SetCPU...same setting i use in tegrak since day 1....this is the best i can get other then that it not stable with constant reboot, hang etc...i got this after playing around almost 3 days.....with various tries and error...tested with stability test for 8 hours (of course with charger plug in or else it would drain my battery within 2 hours !) Mine is :1200 1200 1000 1100 800 950 500 875 200 800 using ondemand govenor and retain stock 200 to 1200mhz although i admit its a waste coz i dont really play games on this phone...except my daughter playing talking cat, dog etc coz sometimes i lazy to bring ipad2 p/s: use this as a sample as each device is unique...dont tell me i didnt warn you if you got sleep death your u cant boot up your phone... 1200 1150mv 1000 1050mv 800 950mv 500 825mv 200 800mv on demand - 800max conservative - 500max when screen off.. this is quite the same as when im using tegrak.. will try it out to see which one saves more juice.. n im trying to learn on how to use juice defender at best now.. hopefully can squeeze more juice |

To anyone looking for SGS2 maxis, just go to center, say u put name already but they didnt call.. i actually have placed my name 2 weeks ago, i go there today they 1st say no stock, i said to them i placed 2 weeks ago then they sorta "go check" and say actually got..
i tweeted to maxis_listens yesterday and she told me stocks are divided into half for walk in customers and waiting list.. so if u come to maxis center, try saying u already placed name.. |

I was wondering what will happen when u swap battery.. as in stock battery u drain to 10%, then u swap in an extended battery 1980mAh, will the phone be dead also since the system battery gauge go to zero or it will auto detect? ive been googling and i found inconsistent answers..
they say use app to recalibrate it etc.. can anyone with a good experience with multi batteries help out? thx in advance |

Been doing some searching and those ppl in US has no issues using an extended battery.. ive also noticed that battery monitor widget has an option to insert manually your battery mAh.. plus i read but i forgot the name that there is an app which allows u to insert profiles for two batteries.. i guess for sgs2 worth getting a 2nd battery cuz not that hard at all to change battery and the phone boots fast also. Guessed its called battery left pro or battery recalibrator somekind like that LOL..
Looking forward for an extra battery.. can anyone recommend a cheap but safe extra battery charging dock for sgs2? Its pain when u dont have time to charge both and need to alternate swap battery in to chargr every night.. maybe thats why samsung created the full battnotification ALARM A lil out of topic : WELCOME TO POST FIVE LOL |

QUOTE(hyuan85 @ Jul 26 2011, 10:16 AM) Been waiting for Maxis to replenish the stock like ages long... should I just buy the phone and port to Digi? just go to KLCC say u got stock.. u placed ur name where? they separated stocks for walk in and waiting.. if ur on waiting, just claim it.. their policy is what makes ppl waiting but u can walk in take and rape ur phone at home LOL |

QUOTE(LuffyPSP @ Jul 26 2011, 11:53 PM) yes it can reboot, but pray that it wont crash even before you can change it to stable one. make backup, if you rooted, nandroid! and no need to flash a new one. happened when i dropped too low.. i also TER forget to untick set on boot.. so the phone boots and upon getting superuser it crashed so need pull battery again.. tried almost 5x finally i managed to open superuser then forget giving root to SetCPU.. if i were a few sec slow, upon superuser permission granted to SetCPU, phone will crash again.. lol.. lucky was in timei got that this evening, crash cuz excessive overclocking with low voltage. i hate setcpu that it wont give warning for fail test after crash reboot, which i had to restore my nandroid cuz it crash everytime rebooted. tegrak offers that, which is why playing around with that is not so annoying, by offering to restore last setting or not before launching it on boot. my settings (do not try unless u are sure about whats the stable for your set, semiconductors arent made identically same) : 200mhz - 800mV 500mhz - 825mV 800mhz - 925mV primarily using these 3 freq only.. seldomly go 1ghz and 1.2ghz unless playing game or anything else.. so far stable on mine, just few wake up lags (deep sleep they say, only happens in samsung T_T), didnt remember random boots but if there is any i suspect ROM or app.. quite scary some faced "sleep death".. lucky didnt on mine |
