1. Brand = any good brand as long its not an acer laptop
2. Budget = around rm1.4k. max budget rm1.6k
3. Specs = intel cpu with amd/ati gpu or amd apu.. using for assignment and medium - light gaming..
4. Size = not too big, as long as not the size of a netbook..

any recommendation is appreciated

Hello all, my laptop compaq cq40 is dead, well it is a failure product for me
now im searching for new one, need help of pros here

1. Brand. - seems that Asus is famous now? im not really into dell and acer, or any other brand?
2. Budget. - Around rm1.5k
3. Specs. - any high intel i can get with this budget? i stopped playing games, now i just want laptop able to handle heavy software, solidwork, editing etc
4. Size. - normal laptop
