I doubt this laptop will be covered by Dell warranty in Malaysia since its not available here sad.gif
So it'll almost be the same as having a Sager...  hmm.gif
*
hmm, guess so. it'll be hard to cover the warranty. so, any recommendations similar with these?

I'm planning to buy my auntie a laptop during this coming pc fair....

recently with all the hype about amd llano ,
but so far i've only seen acer comes with it.

Is there any other brands going to offer llano by the end of this month?

Edit :
Thanks AlexLai.. A43Ta icon_rolleyes.gif

They are way better in terms of GPU (compared to Intel HD3000 and most entry level Nvidia GPU)... but loses out significantly when it comes to CPU power...
So its a matter of whether you want the laptop to be more geared towards work (Intel) or play (llano) laugh.gif

The Toshiba is currently the best at the moment due to the 3 years warranty offer... but then the speakers are quite horrible haha

Well, if you're only using it for browsing and movies... even a llano-based laptop is overkilled laugh.gif
I recommend these instead:
14"
Asus A43Sj, Pentium B940 + Nvidia GT520M@RM1799, W7HP
Toshiba Satellite L745-1049U, i3-2310M + Intel HD3000@RM1799[2.14kg], 2nd & 3rd year warranty
Dell Vostro 1450, i3-2310M + Intel HD3000@RM1699
Dell Vostro 1450, i5-2410M + Intel HD3000@RM1949
Dell Vostro 3450, i3-2310M + Intel HD3000@RM2139
Dell Vostro 3450, i5-2410M + Intel HD3000@RM2399, backlit keyboard
HP Pavilion G4, i3-2310M + Intel HD3000@RM1899, W7HB

Use the remaining money to extend warranty to 3 years or buy something else that matters icon_rolleyes.gif
