battery life:
TimelineX 4830TG, i5-2410M + GT540M@RM2499[2.2kg]
N43SL, i5-2410M + Nvidia GT540M@RM2699[2.4kg][Bang & Olufsen] *No USB3.0 <== after bios update to latest.. mine jay chou version can last up to 5 hours + surfing...

Llano in my own humble opinion... is not worth once it is over 2k... above 2k u got intel+ati/nvidia adi.....


other sifus will hav suggestions.. perhaps wanna see theirs first. hahax

I work at institute la, not company laugh.gif
Nope, I always turn off the lights, switch them to white color laugh.gif
Not everyone is as interested in laptops as we are... hence most of them never even noticed what laptop I'm using miahaha- low profile laugh.gif

But if I turn on the lights then its a different story lol

Usage: Microsoft Office, movie, surfing. Hardly play game using PC but not intended to get i3 as price difference seems not much.


I am being offered this 2 models at PC Fair. Spec seems almost similar to me. There are some others free gift as well. One of the promoter told me there is no point getting 8GB of RAM as laptop only utilised max 4GB. 8GB is for those who install 2 windows in the PC. True? Can anyone advice me which to take? thanks.

Those 2 are good, the Acer comes with 3 years warranty, whereas the Asus comes with 2 years international warranty.
The Asus has a better GPU nod.gif

Can consider this one as well: G470, i5-2410M + Intel HD3000@RM1999

Its true that most normal users don't really fully utilize the 8GB RAM, but the running on 2 windows thing is BS laugh.gif
