I used to buy this kind of knife before. I will become loose in no time.
So my advise is, just spend a bit more, buy Tamiya @ Olfa Design Knife.
Olfa one around RM28 (with 30pcs blade).
That one u can use for a year ++. I bought my Tamiya Design Knife on 2009 till now not yet finish all 30pcs. Its really worth buying la. More value for your money rather than u buy the RM10 or less knife than cannot use properly. icon_rolleyes.gif

U can buy it here.

If u visited Mid Valley Ace, better walk a walking distance to Jusco...I'm still using the RM8 one, no loose & still ok until now but for sure the Tamiya Olfa is much better
*

both of u make ke hate my self cry.gif
bought that one for rm16. and with 1 blade only.
but nvm i use UHU glue and it stick for the moment, but i dont dare to turn it too much
still, the blade could move abit sad.gif

If you want to use thinner or the zippo lighter fluid, best test it on your runner first.
*
QUOTE(Vorador @ Jul 18 2011, 08:37 PM)
@dfcloud,

becareful if using thinner, the way they clear the marking is to wipe out a very thin layer of the plastic. So the more you use the more damage to the part.
*

thanks. but instead of trying to remove them tonite i continue my work on other model doh.gif laugh.gif
i probably will try the lighter fluid first b4 thinner.

Yup, personally I think the details are really good. My friend has a MG 00 Raiser. I will try to make a comparison of it when my Metal Build 0 Raiser arrives biggrin.gif

Uhhh, I preordered it with sakuradesune biggrin.gif Total up to around RM360 including proxy and stuff. I think its cheaper if you buy from G-Wing though.

00 Gundam itself is coated with metallic paint and full, or almost, metal frame. Some parts like the feet are also metal. None of the weapons have metal parts(except screws) if I'm not mistaken. From picts below, you can also see some metal parts on the head(cheek). Leg joints, arm joints, shoulders, waist, pelvic, ankle & more.

See spoiler for picts:

Not really just a finished model kit with metallic coat, look at the photos you've posted. See those shiny parts? They are all metal die-cast.

hmm.gif So there are differences in design between the MG and MB. And quite noticeable difference of proportions.

Speaking of which, what's everyone's first gundam, and why? Does it hold any significance for you? Mine was a NG 1/144 Blaze Zaku Phantom, which I got because it was cheap. I must admit at that point I didn't know wth gundam was. my first MG (which I'm still building) is the Zeta Gundam v2.0. It holds particular significance for me because Zeta was the first series I watched and until now, besides the Nu, it's my favourite gundam. Anyone else?

My first MG also is Wing Gundam ver KA. Impressed with the detail and steadiness of this kit. But after I build the 2nd MG kit (Char's Zaku II) I was so surprise to see why the Wing so dwarf compare to the UC kit. biggrin.gif...
