What I meant is, do we still need to hackintosh where apple product is already cheap and powerful especially the entry level mac mini. Rm2.9k.
*
Mostly, those who went into hackintosh way were not due to the cost of buying Apple products, but because they can do it since they've the required hardware readily available.

do u think, hackintosh will die after mac mini m1 available.
*
I think so. The Mac mini M1 is so affordable now. I have a i7 3770k Hackintosh. It was my main driver for many years but still stuck at 10.8.4 cos I was too lazy to update it. Anyway this year bought Mac mini M1. Probably won't be spending much time with hackintoshes any more.

i felt that the desire to be the top with cheaper price compare to the current mac pro reduced now.

and most of us hackintosh due to affordability

hence, with the new mac mini m1 cheap and affordable, i found hackintosh for the time being just not budget friendly.

Also, for myself anyway, no more time to spend on getting a hack working properly. Been there, done that at least once, I think good enough lah. It was great getting the Hackintosh working almost perfectly. I think everyone should go through that experience at least once. LOL

Mine's OK (Mac mini mostly, MBA I less use), what prompts you to restart? The only consistent problem so far is often I lose the ability to screenshot. For that, I need to log out and log back in. Very annoying.

Haha, for my case, always safari or more accurately some network service on the OS goes bonker. Cannot surf web at all no matter what browser I use, until I reset it (long press power button).

Even when I try to restart it whether thru CLI or normal way, it would just hang there

people who are making hackintosh will buy a real eventually. The M1 chip still in its infancy, though it performs way better than the intel counterpart. many mac user will loose windows capability in bootcamp if they jump into M1 bandwagon now. So hackintosh is way to go before Arm Based Windows, AAA games, APPs. GPU drivers, Mining taking advantage of ARM which very far in the future. IMO

"will evil tim cook stop intel compatibility and go 100% m1 to stop us from using hackintosh so they can earn more?"

A few days ago, I came across, I believe, the same problem that you had. Normally I'm on ethernet, mine's a Mac mini but that day I was doing something with WiFi and suddenly, no more network at all over wifi. Ethernet still works. This may have happened before but I had never noticed it because ethernet is not affected. Had to restart to revive the wifi.
