try installing battery monitor widget. see the maximum charging current.
when i using stock ROM and Kernel.....i only can get max charging current ar 450mA.
using Custom Rom and kernal......my max charging current is 14000mA.
i think samsung stock kernel limited it max charging current like all other samsung phone.
stock galaxy S2 max charging currrent is set at 650mA whiel HTC is set to 1000mA

by default the kernel max is 1Ghz only.
if i set it at max 1.4GHz......the tab wont go to deep sleep. this will drain battery alot.
CPUspy will said unused CPU state: Deep Sleep and 216GHz

try celcom, some of them are selling the tablet only. I bought mine at ikano for 1899 without any plans. Swipe my card as well. Not 3% charge what so ever.

just bought the usb connector and kinda regretting it now. cant use my external hard drive with it, which is fine, but if im gonna have to transfer my files into the thumbdrive then to the tab, i might as well plug the tab straight to my pc and transfer. oh well. also bought the charging dock which is awesome.

Did u try to connect ur external hd with power supply? Coz i remember saw somewer in the net someone connects his galaxy s2 with external hd together with power supply...

Harddrive must be fat32. Both my 120gb n 500gb works fine with it
