The absence of a micro SD still turn me off

This is Samsung software problem ; the keyboard is bad on the SGS, SGS2, Galaxy tab too when posting on LowYat forums. Other forum is OK. I do not have such issue on the HTC Flyer, Acer Iconia, Dell Streak, HTC etc. Use OPERA mobile - this lag problem will go away

The battery size alone (which is similar to those smartphones) will kill off the LG Pad

At one of the mobile kiosk, I took out my 5 inch dell streak to take a call. The young salesgirl later ask me whether it is the latest ipad3? OMG just unbelievable!

Why you guys want to buy from Bestbuy/Amazon when you can now get it locally - from item(USJ) and directd ( based on what I have read ) ; their prices are cheaper than from online ??
Both these sellers are very well established and reputable. You buy from them , any warranty issues go back to them

Jimmy are you sure about micro sd slot available in this 10.1? I This is officially not a feature

It is misleading
I seen the sgbest site. You need to buy separately the usb dock connector to insert your sd card. That is why is described as external microscope I am the features

From the beginning since 10.1v, there is /was never a micro SD slot . You guys can check/read all the reviews. This sgbest model is suspicious and I must say is the only one I have come across so far saying it has a micro SD slot. I still think the guy who answer him mistake the connector as the SD slot

That is the proto models - March -leh !!!. Subsequently, The official 10.1 v - check Samsung sites - does not have the micro SD listed

Anyway , guys be careful buying 10.1 v models - you just look at ebay - many sellers selling this 10.1v , some are honest saying are proto models issued to them for trial/testings by Samsung

Why don't you ask them ?? Don't you think you will get a better answer there. Remember you need to pay RM 100 Sirim permit to have it in

As long as you are sending in to Msia thro courier or post, customs will hold it until you get the sirim Permit. This you need to go to Shah Alam to apply. Better use DHL or Fedex and ask them to handle for you , saves you the trouble you do it yourself

Rooting is just like a KEY so that you can access your car and open its bonnet to tweak/tune the engine. With rooting, you can have access to system files - change it, install cook roms, theming changes, install apps that required system access eg Titanium Backup , a very good baxckup/restore app, set and tweak system cpu seeds and voltage controls etc

Got my 32gb wifi today
Noted the supplied software is really barebone, dont even have file manager
Anyway not a serious issue to me but to a complete new user it is a big disadvantage

You tested it ?? I read the blog - he basically disable most Samsung apps. I will root it tomorrow and just by using Titanium Backup to freeze most of the Samsung apps which I never used. Getting late , my Tab still installing the TW update ( very slow after the 75% mark) - hope it goes thro well . Now at 95% after more than 10 mins

Marketing strategy-lah. These are what is called teaser ads. But the fact they spend so much on a 4 hard page advert in form of a box mag cover shows imminent launch of it this month

Three days into using this Tab , still didn't notice any Newton Ring issues
Rooted it last night and immediately backup the stock rom ( upgraded with TW)
Very happy with the performance and I don't think I will change the rom to Starburst yet
