Product Comparison

user posted image user posted image

Since inception in 2005, I do NOT sell Generic inks. Each Model is matched with it's appropriate ink/colour type.
For those that have met me personally, I've shown you the difference in ink type/colour/brand/model. It's very obvious in same cases.

The above is the ezCISS ink tube comparison for different models/brands printers. I use the ink tube picture as a true sample of goods received by customers. Easiest to compare is the YELLOW ink.. every model/brand/series is different.

For this very reason, new customers that are not in my database, I always ask my customers what brand/model printer are they using for their refill needs.

For repeat customers with a few printers with ezCISS, you already know my inks are different.

Why so complicated over refill ink? Well some customers need good colour matching output nearest to the originals. In short, Ink Quality matters!

If I sell Generic Inks, wouldn't the ink tubes all have the same tone?
p.s - I took that ink tube picture more then 1 year ago.. you can check the EXIF info

UPDATE
user posted image

Just a small sample of different Brand/Model/Series of refill inks to match and customised for each printer model.

It was very difficult to photograph the variation of hues to differentiate the ink bottles. Yellow is the easiest example to use. I do hope that you can see the differences, actual item in hand is easier to compare and more obvious. As said before, I do NOT do generic inks. I need to know what Brand/Model printer you are using when placing order. Same Brand BUT different printer Model varies too! sweat.gif

Product Testing

I've had a few request on the quality of ezCISS kit and Glossy Photo Paper. I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Equipment
Printer - Epson C65
Ink - ezCISS Kit
Paper - CWG-D 180gm/m2 Glossy Photo Paper (waterproof & instant dry)
Camera - Canon IXUS 400 (4MP)
Editor - Photoshop (crop ONLY, no enhancements made)

Methodology
Pls click on thumbnail for your full analysis.

1. Prints - 2 copies for comparison A & B(control sample)
user posted image

2. Swimming Print - I soaked A for about 30 minutes in an old ice-cream bucket.
user posted image

3. Comparison of A after swimming (paper is still soaking wet) and B (control sample)
user posted image

I let you be the judge thumbup.gif

Cheers!

cx3500 uses the same cartridge as C65. (T0461-T0472-0474) so YES the system can be used for your AIO. Please check if you can route the ink tube into your printer.

Yes.. I love the printer, hate the cartridges too. Really not practical lifespan for one original cartridge.

MOD can be done at your own risk. But why you want to MOD? You will need Chip Resetter and self MOD cartridge if not done properly will have ink leaking everwhere. It's going to be very messy.

CIS for C680 FULL set with 400ml ink, Auto Reset Chip, CIS Cartridge only RM160!

Please advise on what printer brand that you require for. EPSON, CANON and HP are diffrent ink types. DYE or PIGMENT ink?

I can TRY to order ink for you by your colour requirements. For Example Looses packing for EPSON DYE ink is RM35 for 90ml.

Updated as per your kind advise. I hope the links are clear now. notworthy.gif

For the bargain pricing I have quoted, I need at least 10 sets for success. biggrin.gif

If not, it's very difficult to offer the CIS sets at these prices. I really hate to bump up the prices if I cant meet the 10 sets sad.gif

Please feel free to do your own market research, "lelong" there offering RM399, their system also not proper CIS. ohmy.gif

Thanks again Buddy! smile.gif

I hope so buddy. Response has been a bit slow. If this bulk goes thru, you will SAVE RM200+ compared to the shop pricing at LYP. Maybe they price it that high because of lack of demand?

Well it's an innovate and cost saving product for me, as I find it faster and cheaper to print my digital camera pics at home smile.gif

Cheers!

FULL set buddy, Plug and Print straight away. For this specific model, as the cartidge is different, according to my supplier is about 90ml of ink each colour. As it is a four colour, type total would be about 360ml of ink preinstalled. smile.gif

Print Head - I'll have to check with my supplier, as I know, some CANON models have the print head on the cartridge and some in the printer. If your print head is in the printer, sorry I cant help in that area.

I'll transfer my website to another host (thanks for your feedback), then you should be able to see what CISS is all about.

Cheers

Complete set, just "Plug and Print" with about 500ml ink prefilled RM230 only. No Refill required until you run out of ink. 100ml of ink is alot and will take you some time to finish it smile.gif It's about 10 normal cartridges!

I will provide support FOC where I can, alternatively you can get compatible ink from any good store and pour it in the "Tank" when it is nearly empty. This way you are not depended on me. I think this is a good arrangement. Yes?

Please check my website as I have most of the information there.

Cheers

Apologies buddy.. I'm currently happy with getting a 400ml system smile.gif Did you know that your current set of cartridges is only 49ml of ink? It's quite tough to trade 400ml for 49ml, I'm sure that you understand.

I would suggest you try posting a [WTS] at the "Garage Sales" section. you may be able to find a resonable buyer there.

Cheers!

For my epson c65, if I were to change my whole set of ink using compatible cartridges will cost more than RM120 (RM30 x 4).

Think...

I saw one unit of this in IT Hypermarket. It cost RM245. Quality wise based on what ezCISS describe in his site, I reckon his is better.

Anyhow, if this bulk takes too long. I will get it from there. Sigh...

Thats why I spent so much time creating the website for just you guys. It's quite a simple process. I will give my HP No. to Genuine Buyer for added support.

I think installing a heatsink is a tougher job than this. Anyways, IF you lack the confidence I can install it for you if you are willing to pay for my "pergi-balik" taxi fare to your place.

If all else fails, you can still buy it the OLD VERSION off the shelf from LYP for an added premium with less ink that still comes without instalation or added support wink.gif

Cheers biggrin.gif

The Epson Universal Resetter is to be used on "Single Use Chip" Cartridges. As we all know, when the chip in the cartridge registers as 0%, it's basically dead. For those who intend to refill the cartridge can now do so with the assistance is the Universal Resetter. It will reset the chip back to 100% and your good to go. (provided you refilled the cartridge).

I need more info from you.
1. Cartridge Model?
2. Dye, Pigment or Without Ink?
3. With or without refill tools?

ezCISS,

I'm interested on 1 unit for my Epson Stylus Photo 810.
Does it comes comlete set with the chip resetter catridge ?
1 question. I had seen one type in All IT Hypermarket - SEPOM brand. They said, the need to modify something in the printer to allow the wastage ink to flow out. So no need to replace the sponge in the printer. Does your product do this as well ?

Epson Stylus Photo 810 (T026/T027) Six Colour Printer - Complete set with ink RM260

NO Chip resetter is required. I'm using the Latest "Auto Reset Chip" Only when ink is below 10%, Chip shall reset to 90%. With this ARC, printer will not clean print head every time you turn it on. You don't waste ink!

I've seen it in that old cheap white box. That old stuff has been sitting there for months! I emailed Singapore (2 weeks to reply!) theirs is "Always Reset Chip" with 75ml ink. In the end you will waste a lot of ink. (thats why they tell you to MOD)

Waste MOD is optional. It is independent of any CISS, mine or theirs.

Waste ink MOD is you own decision to make. I have the MOD information on my website (install-> link on bottom left of screen)

When you have made your decision, kindly follow instructions on Post #1 to secure your set. Deadline is 24th September.

Kindly visit my website for more detail information.

Cheers! biggrin.gif

I am currently interested in your universal ink resetter since I have seen it on the web for quite some time but have no idea where to find it in Malaysia.

I am using a Epson C41 and my ink dries up within a few weeks.I find that the ink level seems to be erratic and drops by almost 25% each time I do head cleaning after a few weeks of not using.Once drop it is almost useless even if there is still ink in it.

If I buy this chip resetter from you is there a suitable ink type for the 038/39 cartridges since I have not seen an Epson specific ink refill before. Can I use other brand inks on the Epson cartridges? How should I refill it by using a stringe or dropping?

Please PM me your details so that I can buy it from u via postage.
Thanks.

Bulk Order for Epson Universal Chip Resetter = RM40 only. Market price is RM80+

For Original / OEM Single use cartridges, the chip will force clean the print head every time you turn the printer on. So you waste a lot of ink. (that's where your ink is going) Furthermore, those type of cartridges have Sponge inside. So you actually get 1/2 cartridge ink only to make matters worst.

There is Epson Compatible ink in the market. You can get it from the shops for RM60 for 125ml of ink. For colour consistency I would recommend you get Epson type inks. Depending on the C41 single use cartridge design, most probably a syringe. According to my supplier, this type of method can last for 3-5 refills before the single use cartridge gets spoilt. (chip is still good)

I personally do not recommend this method as recycling sponge cartridges are more prone to getting your printer head clogged.

If you do the math, 1 complete CISS set with ink for your C41 is only RM160 without all the problems of the above (you get more for less). For your consideration, please visit my website for FULL details.

Please email me your decision as indicated in Post #1

ezCISS,

Sadly for me, you don't have CIS kit for my HP5550, and my black cartridge is now not usable and I understand it costs an arm and a leg (more than RM140 I think) to replace it! sad.gif

Can you recommend me a good printer which I can use for mainly printing photos and some text, which you have a good CIS kit. I'm particularly concerned about the printer head clogged/dried up. Please let me know.

Thanks.

My ink now is dirt cheap. Just feel like wasting some ink printing garbage
sometimes to get the "my printing cost is only woOOhOO" feeling.

Btw, what is with the waste ink? I realised the right side of the printer where the cartridge resting place is messy with inks around. Is that waste ink? What can I do about it?

Thanks!

To u guys out there. I can personally tell u that this guy came all the way from Taman Maluri to Kelana Jaya via LRT just to meet up with me.

Very good service! Highly recommended.

I'm really sorry I could not get the CISS for you this time. sad.gif CISS is make printing dirt cheap for any printer. Let me "hantam" my supplier, although HP5550 CISS is out for the moment, I may be able to get you the HP Auto Reset Chip. Do you think you can swap the chip and know how to refill the HP carts (you need to get you own ink)?

My recommendation is Epson.. you can check out the forum for feebacks from other users. Low budget is C65, if you have extra $$ go for the R210. With CISS you save in ink cost AND get quality prints.

Opss.. cant guarantee success for V2 bulk order wor sad.gif

thumbup.gif Buddy!

"Waste ink" -> ink spent on cleaning the print head evertime you turn on the printer. With the ARC.. no more "waste ink" biggrin.gif Now that you have one unit, no more cleaning sound everytime your turn on the printer rite? If you tried the "other" brand, sure you regret after reading my post.

I forgot to show you that night "the ink splatter" in the side plastic. It was already there (you know you can trust me). If you look at the "parking/cleaning" mechanism under the printhead, there is a black 1 inch rubber "Squeegee" thinggy. When you clean the printhead, the "Squeegee" will wipe off any excess ink, thus "the ink splatter". This has nothing to do with the CISS.. it's Epsons design to keep the print head clean.

Yah.. all the way there from the other side of town, buy you drink, install for you.. wei.. no extra "tip" ah? thumbup.gif

Cheers! thumbup.gif

Hi Yew!

Wanna ask something about the Ink Tanks. My black ink is almost empty on the smaller compartment of the tank. How do I get the larger compartment to fill it up?

Thanks.

To recap my verbal explanation to you. Thats how true constant preasurre Ink Tanks works. You can leave it as it is, CIS will work fine. BUT if you like to see the ink on equal levels, just remove the rubber plug on top of the ink tank completely, and you will see the preassure equalise.

thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

For the printing issue that you are facing. First thing is to get the carriage to move into the ink cartridge replacement position. Once the carriage moves from it's "parked" position just unplug the printer.

In addition the flushing the print heads of old ink and unclogging it the face of the print head can attract dust, paper lint and pet hair. You can clean the face of the print head using a folded paper towel or coffee filter. Sometimes you will need to cut the paper towel or coffee filters into strips of an inch to 1 inch wide.

Then dampen the paper towel or coffee filter with warm distilled water (you will want the paper towel/coffee filter to be damp but not dripping) Now you place the damp paper towel/coffee filter in the path of the print head. Then pass the carriage over the paper towels/coffee filters to remove the foreign matter from the face of the print head. (see photo)

As you slide the print head over the paper towel/coffee filters a few times you will start the see the debris is being removed from the face of the print head. It is not uncommon to perform this process several times to completely remove all of the foreign matter from the print head's face.

Buddy, as you have follow from V1 Bulk, you would know I originally cost at 10 sets minimum. I further cut down to 5 sets while keeping same price. sweat.gif

For V2 bulk onwards my supplier further want to charge me Bank Charges USD20 per shipment cry.gif I sincerly hope that you understand. Price has not chnges for the moment.

FULL specs on my paper type and quality is on my website. If you are brand concious, stick to your branded paper. Personally I feel its the same stuff, they just Brand repackage it.

Things to look out for when buying paper
Type - Microporous (Resin Coated), Swellable or Cast Coated
Finish - Glossy or Matte
Whiteness - % Whiteness
Features - Water Resistant & Instant Dry
Weight - g/m2 (thicker the better)

Shops normally sell with with colour packaging.. but the information above may not be printed in the packaging. Sometime you buy cause it's cheap, but the quality is less.

Worried loh. Poslaju tracking shows delivery attempt at 1815 hours. At that time got plenty of ppl at home already. Also no poslaju card left behind. Either they went to wrong address or they did not come at all.

Buddy, no need to worry. I just called 1300-300-300 to counter check for you. It's possible that they could not make the delivery today.

1. As indicated originally, in their system would take 2 days
2. 1815hrs is not practical as this "month" they are making only 1 trip per day. Late afternoon trips have been cancelled for this "month". It could be their system update time.

I'll keep an eye on your delivery!

Been playing around with the resetter for almost the whole day. This device is idiot proof.Just attach the cartridge to the pins accordingly to their arrangement, wait for the red blinking light to turn stable green and walla! you got your cartridge's chip resetted just like new a new one.

The next part is a bit more tricky though but this has nothing to do with EzCISS's product. It's refilling the cartridge with ink that's a little tricky if you're new to this.It was messy at first.Everywhere on the table is smudged with ink trying to figure out how to get the ink in with the stringe. So I emailed Mr EzCISS to ask him for some help.He told me to refill the cartridges without the stringe instead. It worked!!Just "sumbat masuk" the bottle mouth into the refill hole, press the bottle lightly to push the ink in and you've got a recycled cartridge that is almost as good as new.

Thumbs UP thumbup.gif for EzCISS for his excellent after sales support. If he didn't advised me about the not so conventional method I'd still be stuck here trying to figure out how this refilling thing goes about. Then again if you're looking for something which has much less hassle with a neater setup go for the continuous ink system that EzCISS is recommending to you all.You don't have to go through all the dirty work of trying to refill your ink cartridges and replacing them when they worn out after a few times of usage due to the sponge inside of them.A one time spongeless cartridge for the Epson printers is all you need for the CISS tank system to work for years if you take care of your printer properly. Now i am planning to get the CISS system instead for my upcoming new phome printer.

Thanks a lot. thumbup.gif

Happy to report that ur kit has been installed and is working great in my printer now.
My original Epson black cartridge had been empty for over a month and almost 30% of the nozzles were clogged up. But after only 5 nozzle cleaning cycles, everything is 100% clear!

Installing the kit was easy, thanks to the instructions provided by exCISS, both in detailed words and pictures. thumbup.gif

ezCISS, I'm considering also converting my C80 to this system. thumbup.gif
Just 2 questions.

1. How long can the new CISS ink be stored if left unopened/unused in the original pack? My current Epson original C80 cartridges are still more than 70% full, so it could be months before i need to change them!

2. Epson uses Durabrite Ink Technology for the C80 (and also C65 which many in V1 have), is the CISS equivalent also water resistant (for all colors) and more durable than the normal water based inks?

I'm happy to hear that you are considering your 2nd set!

1. As it's an ink product, it's recommended shelf life is 2 years. BUT since my system is spongeless, it can be stored for longer periods if kept properly. That being said, my kits are direct from the overseas manufacturer, they custom assemble and use fresh ink when delivering my orders.

2. Durabright (water proof ink) is actually Pigment Ink. If you require, I can order your set with PIGMENT ink, but the price may not be aggreable to you as 400ml of pigment ink is quite expensive. Furthemore, Pigment ink is more prone to head clogging as it's super thick ink.

Since you are an existing user, I'm sure you satisfied with the print quality of your 1st set.

Cheers! biggrin.gif

Thanks for the prompt reply.

I purchased the C80 primarily for the Durabrite ink due to its specific properties of being water resistant and durable. For this printer I would not want to use normal water soluble inks. How much more would the pigment inks cost?

Ya, thinking of trying ur paper too, would like to order together with the CISS kit.
I've been on original all this time because the print quality and durability of the printouts is quite crucial for my application - the prints are exposed to quite harsh environment, and the Durabrite ink has been the only one (in the consumer range) i have found (compared to all other printer brands - HP, Canon, etc) to stand up to it.
I don't consider it `expensive' if it can satisfy the job requirements. Of course, if ur supplier can offer a more economical solution, i'd be a fool not to switch! laugh.gif
So far no other third party ink supplier has been confident that their ink can work as well (or nearly as well) as the original stuff. I think they're only on normal dyes, so they can't commit.

...... Durabrite ink has been the only one (in the consumer range) i have found (compared to all other printer brands - HP, Canon, etc) to stand up to it.

......So far no other third party ink supplier has been confident that their ink can work as well (or nearly as well) as the original stuff. I think they're only on normal dyes, so they can't commit.
As I know, there aren't that many FULL Pigment Ink printers in the market, even some of the Canon models use Pigment for BLACK only, they use a combination of Pigment and Dye for their prints.

To be honest I also cannot guarantee 100% colour matching scheme to the originals. I can only say colours comes close to Originals. Anybody that can claim 100% matching must be a fool. As you are more of a professional user, I hope that your 1st set passed your strict QC sweat.gif

To breifly share with all, by Brand and even by models.. each specific printer models has a different ink chemical content. They are rated by;

1. Surface tension
2. Viscosity
3. PH
4. Conductivity

It's just some technical stuff.. but the final output is more important! thumbup.gif

March05 & osxchd

I'm still waiting for a reply from my supplier for your PIGMENT ink. Thank you for your undestanding.

Yes it all depends on pricing, but I'm also concerned on your refills as I dont think you can buy PIGMENT refills from the shops. 100ml ink of each colour may go a long way, but I'll try to get good pricing for the refill ink bottles for you guys. (then you dont have to worry about low ink levels, or the success of my future Bulk Orders)

As you know my bulk all depends on the volume of orders. So I'll give the best service as I can since V2 is confirmed GO (unless somebody decides to FFK)

Please check you PM's for pricing updates or MSN me at ezciss@gmail.com

----------------

ssyalan & idq2k3
Please confirm as Genuine Buyer.. I've sent PM and email to you guys!

Thanks!

I don't know about osxchd's application (does he need pigment ink too?), for me it's the durability that's more important than color matching. I don't think any consumer printer can be exact and consistent enough anyway. They're getting better, but.....

The refill problem will always be there. Even supply of original cartridges for this Epson model is not easy to find. sad.gif If u can obtain a constant supply of pigment refill ink, that'll be icing on the cake!

Let me know what you need

--------------

For Canon users!

It was just a matter of time ChromaLife 100 cartridges are now intregrated with CHIPS. For those thinking of getting those printers, you better recalculate your printing cost. Gone are are the simple refilling days for Canon printers.

Strange thing is that they still haven't gone full pigment like Epson on their lower range models, Seems that only their Black is pigment but the colours are still dye. I guess that they want to keep their cartridges cheaper then Epson.

Printing quality.. well, there are Epson Fans and Canon Fans out here.

I just did an online check for you. Retail at LowYat Plaza for R210 is RM438!!

I just came back form the sardine fair.. Official PC Fair price is RM498 + freebies. but if you do some major walking, you may be able to get a slightly lower price. But heck.. For RM60 saving and easy cheap parking.. get it from LYP!

Opps.. your not from KL.. but it give you an idea on KL pricing here.

Epson C65 is dead already! sad.gif so fast it was overtaken by C67! but the funny thing is that C45 is still going strong!

Cheers!

Sorry I haven't done a survey on R230 prices yet. I think it's limited right now as they still need to clear the current stock of R210's

Almost all specs are the same except for a few minor upgrades listed below;

R210
Image Optimisation - N/A
Print Speed - 15.6ppm(Bk) / 15.1ppm(Colour)
Max. Paper Capacity - 100

R230
Image Optimisation - PIM III & Exif
Print Speed - 15.8ppm(Bk) / 15.3ppm(Colour)
Max. Paper Capacity - 120

Cheers!

There should be some savings since their trying to clear the old stock. Another plus is that R230 may have better firmware and bug fixes compared to R210.

I just receive news that C67 is going as low as RM200 a piece! drool.gif Imagine I got my C65 at RM278! sad.gif

For below RM500 budget.. my recomendation is CX4100 (market price RM420) or CX3700 (market price RM355)

Last weekend at the meet up with joylay83, I saw this at LYP

Pricelist from LYP! laugh.gif
Attached Image

From what I understood, they were 75ml sets with heck of alot of air in the systems.. I forsee printing issues with those sets whistling.gif

It's best for you guys to judge for yourselves. But I have my reservations on that model of CISS.

-------------

After much digging and alot of Q&A, It's has been made known to me that Epson C6X series printers have been evolving to resolve their issues.

C63 Printer -> not compliant
C65 Printer -> Some issues here and there
C67 Printer -> so far so good..

I cant wait for the C87 Models to arrive here laugh.gif

-------------

2 more days to BULK close.. Still no payemnts have been made yet.. sweat.gif

Cheers! thumbup.gif

Does the new model Epson R230 use the same ink as the R210? I am seriously considering the R230 since the R210 has just become obsolete.

Also, I was told by one guy in the shop in LYP that the Epson photoprinter heads spoil easily by compatible inks. Any comments?

Bro.. Thanks for the update!

Refills can be ordered on success of next bulk.. 100ml bottles per colour. If not you can get it from any reliable local store.. Price wise.. you know lah! wink.gif

Err.. I would strongly advise you to take it early this time.

R210 and R230 original cartridges use DYE ink. BUT they use different cartridge models (the chips on the cartridge are different)

This has been a long debate, I can only comment that I have no issues to date since using the system before V1 bulk.

Generally, as I know, Epson printheads are more realiable then others. It all depends also on the quality of the compatible inks.. not all brands are the same. Most problems I know of occure with the 2 common brands out there.. PM me for the names wink.gif

Original R230 cartridges can set you back RM120 easily, so you just have to decide on what you need thumbup.gif

Cheers!

i would happy if anyone can give it a feedback from this ink.
i am a freelance photograhper and a prints quality always is my concern. is this ink work on all different of paper? and is the epson ICS profile accurate after using this ink?

Personally for me, and most of my customers I feel are more concerned on their printer running cost.

I have a sample prints on POST #3 should you be interested. It all depends on what printer model that you are currently using as the Epson Range varies with Dye and Pigment Ink.

Obviously with Original Epson cartridges, the default ICC profile should be what you are used to. But it also depends on how you calibrate your monitor and paper settings. Take for example, Ilford Professional Paper, they too provide ICC profiles depending on the type of paper used. I've printed on normal and inkjet papers with the system and so far so good.

As I always recommend to my customers, it all depends on their needs. With the right calibration, you can get the colours that you desire. Even should you send your digital shots to the lab, it will also depend on the skill of the developer in processing the photos as per your requirements.

Cheers!

blush.gif UltraChrome Cartridges for R2400 is really hard to come by these days. Sorry but R2400 is not on my suppliers list as it is an older model. For 8 Colour Epson Printer, my supplier has support for R800 only, which is the current model.

Sorry that I could not be of better assistance.

Cheers!

Depends on your needs Bro.. pls check if ip600 is using chip on the cartridges (I havent research ALL Canon's latest models yet) I do know that some of the latest Models have incorporated chips in their cartridges and to date there it not way around it. (ink habis.. buy new one.. no more refills)

See your budget bro and what you need to print.. from there work back and see you options.

I did a check for you from the official Canon Website.. ORI ip600 colour cartridges RRP RM45.90 and Black is RM80.90! sweat.gif Buy carefully Bro!

Epson R230 with 6 colour is good too.. but ori cartridges are still expensive for my taste (I think still cheaper then Canon) Only way is using system to reduce your printing cost. But I think you are pure Canon Fan.. heheheh

Yes. Epson R210 is a good photo printer.. maybe you should consider ezCISS for the R210? save on you printing cost in the long run! drool.gif

Notes and Junk.. I think the Canon ip1000 will suit you well.. as text and draft printing is suitable for that model.

Pick up from POSlaju today as busy on weekday. Installed around an hour and initially some ink leaking while printing, but after few head cleaning, finally got quality printout. Thanks for the item and now i can easily refill without opening the printer.

Overall, i recommend this seller, very fast response and service, and good packaging of the item.

Both C67 and C65 running excellent on the CISS thumbup.gif

However, IMHO installation for C67 needs to be done a little differently because of the bridge that epson has added to the printer (for what i dunno doh.gif )

installing it the conventional way tends to result in kinking of the tubes.

Thanks Bro!

WOW that a new way of installing the ink tubes.. it's unconvetional and new. I've personally installed a C67 for one of my customers using the traditional way.

I suggest that you do try to install it traditionally as the removal of the plastic cover will gather more dust inside the printer.

The bridge does not hinder the installation process, it's a minor modification for unknown reasons.

BTW.. I suggest that you put the ink tanks on the table and tape them directly to the printer. Puting them on that box is rather dangerous and being too high will cause high pressure problems in the cartridges.

Cheer & Thanks for the updates!

when u use the bundled set of catridge, it is not same as the catridges you bought separately. the bundled set of catridges are only half full as compared to the catridges you bought separately, hence it finishes very fast. tongue.gif

added to that, this printer cleans its head everytime it starts up doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif yours finish 1 week arr.... mine 2 days gone liao.. laugh.gif laugh.gif

No worries bro.. on the table should be just fine. From the looks of your table, it's rather slim. One wrong move could send your ink tanks crashing.

From your unconventional setup, the ink tubes seems to be droping to the inside base of the printer. Please be careful. Do refer Post #1 for some ideas on the traditional and ideal setup.

Just put it the tanks back to back with the printer. For simple soultion, use el-cheepo 1/2 inch wide tape to secure it vertically across. It's just a safety precaution based on your pictures.

If you have the time, the waste ink bottle installtion for the C67 is super easy! give it a try for a long term solution.

ezCISS Kit for Canon s520 is available! thumbup.gif

Not specific to this product, but effects all inkjet printers! Never place your inkjet printer is a HOT room. Original, Compatible, or ezCISS are ink products, leave it in a hot place, the ink in the printhead is bound to dry up blush.gif

The beauty of this product is that you do not have to waste $$ on catridges anymore, just top up on the ink when required thumbup.gif

PM sent to you

any picture for refillable cartridge?how much price?
and
can put in canon printer ChromaLife100 technology ink?what the price for this ink?
Please visit my website for product pictures and further infomation.

From our many PM's, I thought that you need product for Epson C67? I'm confused now. ChromaLife100 ink is DYE ink from Canon. Those printers using ChromaLife cartridges are now using chips on them. To date, Auto Reset Chips for Canon Printers have not been developed yet.

Durabright / Durabright Ultra / Chromalife Inks CANNOT be purchased ANYWHERE expect by buying the ORIGINAL cartridges ONLY.

Cheers!

Okay
1. Refillable Cartridges For C67
2. Ink? Common ink is DYE ink. (ChromaLife100 is DYE ink yah!.. surprise surprise!)

Refillable Cartridges will be prefilled with DYE ink UNLESS you need PIGMENT ink. PIGMENT ink can be ordered in 100ml bottles (pricy though) and PIGMENT ink is not easily found in PC shops. Please advise.

Website -> Products -> Components ( for pictures of Refillable Cartridges )

Most of my picture printing is done on 4R size! biggrin.gif

To benchmark how many pages is very hard to say, it depends highly on the colour of preference and total area of coverage.

It's best to benchmark by how much ink is provided with the system, i.e. 400ml in total. Thats about 30 - 35 normal cartridges! A PULS is that with the system, the printer will no longer clean the printhead! Thus that will extened the printing capability to about 40 - 45 cartridges! thumbup.gif

Summary - A LOT of prints and you only need to top up on the ink when any colour runs out (you can buy ink from PC shops blush.gif )

Basically the system will outlast your printer lifespan! thumbup.gif

i'll do the calc based on data provided by ezciss and mezerwi:

1 cartridge = 10ml of ink.
400ml of ink = 40 catridges = 10 SETS of catridges (1 set 4 colours)
1 SET OF CARTRIDGE = 4 catridges can print 30 4R size photos.

hence, 400ml of ink a.k.a. 1 set of CISS can print:

10 x 30 = 300 4R size photos. wink.gif

Thanks Bro for the practical calculations. Personally I rather not go with how many prints it can go as it depends highly on many factors.

1. Total area of coverage
2. Paper Size
3. Paper Type
4. Colour preference
5. Combo of Text, Graphics & Photo Prints
6. Maintenance
7. External Factors

For example taken from EPSON Official Source for C67 Model blink.gif
http://www.epson.com.my/products/downloads/C67_Spec.pdf
QUOTE
Standard Capacity Black Ink (T0631) Approx. 250 pages*4
Cyan Ink Cartridge (T0632)
Magenta Ink Cartridge (T0633) Approx. 380 pages*5 (Composite Yield)
Yellow Ink Cartridge (T0634)

I can only say the set is provided with 100ml per colour. Printing Mileage will vary from user to user as their printing preferences differ. blush.gif

With all factors remaining constant, it's the price per ml of ink that shows the savings compared with Original/OEM carts! (still ignoring the savings on ink as the system does not clean the printhead anymore) thumbup.gif

Cheers!

P.S - Hows your printing 4000 lables project? drool.gif

agree... but u know arr... some ppl just wan a agak agak figure... tongue.gif sure ma..... ppl ask : how many sheets can print?? u answer: depends lo.... laugh.gif laugh.gif

my 4000 sheets project has gone less exciting for 3 reasons:
1. the dumb paper cutter cut the paper senget..... kenot reject stocks. have to bear with it.
2. now the printer onli have to print 4 lines per page so use very little ink brows.gif
3. discovered new way to save ink in corel draw. you can reduce the 'K' from 100 to 85 or 90 in the CYMK config. if 1 sheet u save 10% of ink, 4000 sheets you save how much??? whistling.gif

I wanna ask something..is this unit can fir Canon S200sp? I check in your list, only S200spx was listed. So, it mean, S200sp can't fit ?

Weird question eh? Hahahhaa...

Thanks for the update. Just a slight variation, Epson decided to put a bridge on the C67. It's just a matter for ensuring the "Ink Tubes" go UNDER the bridge before installing the cartridges

Hi, ezCISS it's been quite some time since we had our last chat, and your bulk has grown from strength to strength. thumbup.gif

I have just 2 things to consult you about.

1. I have lost one of the air filter plugs from my C680 set. How do I get some replacements? I think i will probably lose some more later.....

2. I have still not used my C80 pigment set yet as my original cartridges were still quite full. But now the original cyan ink is almost down to zero, but the other 3 colors are still half full. Can I just put in your cyan cartridge as a replacement without removing the other original inks? I will have to figure out how to separate the feed tubes of course, but do you think there will be any problem mixing the pigments on the printed page?

Thanks.

Yes it's been a long time, you can always cathch me via MSN for instant service -> ezciss@gmail.com

BULK response has been good so far & I hope to keep up my level of service to all my customers

1. For the moment, I suggest that you "borrow" the air filters from your C80 set. I'll see what i can do for you come V8 bulk.

2. Your suggestion is possible, BUT it can be quite messy if not done correctly as you are dealing with inks. I have a easier solution for you and will send via email with some pictures for reference. This way you save on time and your current inks as well biggrin.gif

Cheers & Thanks for you support!

Thas was a good review.. unfair, but good. Duno how he can compare a RM1K Canon printer vs a RM500 Epson shakehead.gif

Dun worry.. once you get your printer, it will all make sense.. if not, I'm always around for support, online, email or phone

Sorry was in a meeting just now.. As per MSN and Phone support just now..For what I understand, you mean that the blue looks faded. I think it's safe to say its the scanning unit issue as the test pattern print is smooth.

I'll try to dig up some more info on the scanning unit on how this is possible

UPDATE
1. Colour adjustment for prints.

2. Copier Guidelines HERE

Proper maintenance is the key here, as you said, even using Original ink you are having problems. ALL Ink Products need to be handled with care, Original or Compatible.

kawan, canon print head mamang lembik 1.... very easy kaput. that is the reason why canon dun warranty print head icon_question.gif use epson printers to solve the problem. if u want to continue using canon, take care of the print head properly. dun ever let it clot, 90% sure gone case 1 if clot.....

and don't always suka suka clean your print head. clean only when u see got problem. when u clean, dun clean more than 3 times a day. also, try to print at least 1 sheet of text every 3 days, a few lines will do, with CYMK colours.

that way ur printer sure last long 1... my printer print like krezy now still ok. 2 printers, 4500 sheets in 3 days (4 lines a page balck only). 30mls of ink used up with ezciss thumbup.gif

bump for v8 bulk oso... hehe..

mine work good now.. but one think that i get confused is the blue color is not match properly when i print with illustrator. only the blue color will turn up greyish. but others seems match. and when im print with other software, the color match very well. last time using ezink to print with illustrator its ok.. haha... start to confused... oredi adjust CYMK n RGB thing.. but it the same...

By the way, just to let you all know that what is in our monitor will not come up eczactly when we print. There is slightly diffrent due to our monitor color scheme. if you want persise output, calibrate your monitor with pantone tools.
