Personally for me, and most of my customers I feel are more concerned on their printer running cost.

I have a sample prints on POST #3 should you be interested.  It all depends on what printer model that you are currently using as the Epson Range varies with Dye and Pigment Ink.

Obviously with Original Epson cartridges, the default ICC profile should be what you are used to.  But it also depends on how you calibrate your monitor and paper settings.  Take for example, Ilford Professional Paper, they too provide ICC profiles depending on the type of paper used.  I've printed on normal and inkjet papers with the system and so far so good.

As I always recommend to my customers, it all depends on their needs.  With the right calibration, you can get the colours that you desire.  Even should you send your digital shots to the lab, it will also depend on the skill of the developer in processing the photos as per your requirements.

Cheers!
